Booked last minute to stay the next day. Hotel was a couple of minutes from the shops, restaurants and abbey. Plenty of parking in the garden at the front. Had a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor. Some noise from waitrose at about 6 am with deliveries but nothing too much. Bed comfy and hotel...

My wife and I accompanied our daughter for 4 nights at this very conveniently situated B&B. We had a friendly welcome by the proprietor when we arrived and were pleasantly surprised when we saw our accommodation. Clean and spacious rooms and well appointed bathroom with fresh towels each day. The bed was extremely comfortable and one felt that one could...

This clean, comfortable B&B is exactly what's needed at the end of a day's hiking or touring in and around Malvern. Rooms are airy, high-ceilinged and beautifully clean; bath- or shower-rooms have modern fittings and practical hooks and rails; beds and pillows are in good condition. Rooms overlooking the garden are quieter than those on roadside, although during the day...

I stayed at The Montrose for 2 nights whilst staying in Malvern for a work conference. We were greeted warmly and shown to our rooms immediately which were clean, large, high ceilinged and airy. Our room was facing the back of the B and B and therefore had a fantastic view of the hills. The location is excellent only 5...

For our anniversary, my husband had bought us tickets to Malvern theatre so we decided to stay over. We found this small hotel on Late Rooms and decided it suited our needs. It literally was a few hundred yards- even in 5inch heels- from the theatre, steps away from eateries and had the most amazing views. Set at the bottom...

Great location, ideal for town and for the theatre. The owners are smashing people , the room we had was spacious with a lovely outlook over the gardens. Excellent breakfast. Perfect for a two or three day break.

We stayed at the Montrose as part of a 'get away' weekend and visit to the theatre. The Montrose is a lovely old building with interesting original features. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome and stayed in a comfortable room. The cooked breakfasts were fresh and tasty. Well worth a stay and reasonably priced. Many thanks to The...

Have stayed before and once again it was a positive experience, friendly owners and good value for what we had. Very comfy beds, and a good breakfast. No need to use the car, everything on your doorstep, including those Mlavern walks.

The Montrose is very convenient for Malvern centre and is clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and vegetarian breakfast is one of the best I have eaten. Yes, as others have said, it could use some redecoration, but it doesn't detract from the positive experience.

Stayed one night for a wedding. Spotlessly clean bathroom and bedlinen, good shower, very comfy bed and lovely view. Hotel a bit tired and shabby in places but proprietors friendly and breakfast delicious.
