Great site with camping pitches right next to a river, excellent facilities and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It's popular with families so there was a lot of noisy kids about but it was half term so fair enough. Would definitely return but probably not during school holidays. If camping in a tent I'd recommend pitches 64-65 as they're in a quieter corner away from the caravans.
Camping is not really my thing but my children love it so we often go. We had 3 pitches for two nights. The site is beautiful. Literally the cleanest showers and toilets that I’ve ever seen on a campsite. Site Wardens we’re so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning
Great family run site. Spacious pitches, very clean and tidy facilities . There is a small shop and they also sell camping gas. On a bus route into Worcester for exploring. Well worth a visit. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. We enjoyed our weekend stay but unfortunately, while we were there, my wife fell ill however the site Warden Vivien and her husband Gary were really helpful and supportive . We can not thank them enough. We would certainly stay there again.
Three night stay lovely friendly family run campsite very clean and tidy. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Viv the lovely lady who came to our rescue with a screwdriver. Thank you Paul and Gail
Thank you very much for a lovely stay. The office staff and site managers (Gary and Vivian) were really approachable and helpful! It was a great site with beautiful babbling brook and good facilities!
Friendly reception good clean site and toilets and showers clean.this is a site for true campers as the is nothing on site and everything a drive away unless you love walking and fishing and in general just family camping holiday
Beautiful surroundings and very clean facilities. The club is very friendly and welcoming.recommend the Banks beer on draught. Had sirloin steak with chips and peas for 950 and it was well cooked and presented. Cooked breakfast next day was very filling for 5.50. Chef was accommodating and friendly ( wife is GF). If you want a good meal without breaking the bank then look no further. Very peaceful campsite.
We set off up the M5 with our trailer tent knowing we only had twenty five minutes until the owners were leaving for the day in which case we’d have to find a different site however after making a phone call the lovely lady said she’d stay on and wait for us and I’m so glad she did. We originally booked for one night but ended up staying 3! We camped right on the river, toilet block is a bit of a walk but spotlessly clean, there are only 2 showers but I never had to queue once. The cafe is open weekends and I’d highly recommend breakfast it’s such great value. The shop stocks anything and everything. The nearest pub is about 20 mins walk but well worth it however it doesn’t serve food in the evenings another ten minute walk and there is a pub that serves food which was also nice. The campsite will give you a map, they have a map for everything 😂 we did the four mile walk along the river to Worcester TWICE! It takes you through Worcester racecourse. We got the bus back, it’s the 303 bus from the city centre however it only runs until 6pm there is another bus the 144 that takes you to Claines Lane you can walk 10 mins to the pub then the 20 mins back to site. There is also a five mile walk from the campsite along the canal to Droitwich which we will return to do. There is a private gate within the campsite to access both walks, again they will give you a map. The nearest Chinese takeaway is very nice. The pitches were a good size, we saw lots of wildlife and of course the resident swan and ducks. I would highly recommend this site if you are happy to drive or enjoy walking. It really was a brilliant little find. We didn’t want to come home 😔…
Just got back from camping. Initially booked to stay Friday and Saturday night but liked it and decided to stay another 2 nights. Friday and Saturday the site was busy but a lot of people left Sunday and it was quiet. Site warden was on hand for and issues. Pitch was flat and you can park next to your tent. Our 10 year old loved fishing and some pitches you can fish from right by your tent. We were also able to use our inflatable dinghy and took it all the way to the Severn. Toilets were clean. Cafe was well priced and nice food but only open at weekends. Shop wasnt a rip off either! ☺️ I think the site could use an additional washing up facility down on the main field. It's a bit of a walk to take the dishes to be washed and this is also done in the toilet block. Not much to do the site but is perfect for a quiet get away. There is a small park for younger kids. We went for a lovely walk up the canal to the river Severn and our son lived picking wild blackberries. Would definately stay here again and will recommend this. …
Loved this place, booked on a whim and found it to be a cracking site, theres a gate onto canal,we biked it to droitwich, enough space for the boys to play and a shop that sells the basics of u need it,lovely surroundings, the ideal place to chill out and get away from it all,and not a trek to get to,will be defiantly returning soon
