We are a basic, family owned, short stay touring holiday site. The site is open April to October, located only 3 miles from Worcester city centre. We are a riverside site with 80 grass pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes, 41 with 10 amp electric hook-up. 4 small electric pitches are also available in our ‘B Field. Free WiFi is available in our yard area, not in the fields. Free shower block and toilets with washing-up sinks in both the ladies and gents. Outdoor washing-up point. Pets are free to come on site as long as they are kept on a lead at all times. The river Salwarpe surrounds the site, which we allow fishing on for a small fee of £1.50 per rod, per day, when you are on site. A national rod licence is required. You can cycle or walk from the site along the canal to Droitwich (~5 miles), or walk along the River Severn to Worcester (~4 miles). We stock Calor Gas and Camping Gaz.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We love Mill House. Nice and local to us - 15 minutes up the road. The site is lovely and can be enjoyed whatever the weather! It’s chilled and relaxing, great for kids, perfect family camping! The staff are friendly and accommodating. All facilities are clean and welcoming. We have been a few times now and will no doubt be booking again!

Stayed here for one night to meet up with family. Well looked after grass site with refurbishment of the cafe taking place, I think it will be good when completed. The lady at reception was very welcoming with a happy personality. There is some road noise,……to be expected when a site is by a dual carriageway but it wasn’t bad enough to be a nuisance. The toilets and showers were clean, there is even a basket of personal hygiene products available.

Fantastic little site. Staff are so lovely. Lovely little touches like the basket of toiletries in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean! Could do with a few extra water points and maybe another toilet but know it’s work in progress

Just come back from a lovely few days at the site. Met the new owners Dave & Lisa who were very welcoming & friendly. Great pitches with a mix of electric & non electric in an open field (x 2). A great shower (free) / toilet block which is always clean when we visit & lovely to see Viv the site warden who is always smiling when she does her daily walk of the site talking to campers etc New refurbishments in progress on site in the old shop & storage area so looking forward to our next visit later this year to see what unfolds. Fishing is available onsite on the small river if you fancy a dabble but If you want bigger fish, Hawford Bridge fishery is next door with 3 pools. Nearest pub is the Mug House in Claines (about a mile away) which has real ales or a little further towards Worcester there are more pubs leading into Worcester. If you've not done your food shop before you get here or just need a few extras then Blackpole is just a few minutes drive back towards the M5 junction 6 for supermarkets & other shops. Worcester is about 3 miles with lots to do.

David and Lisa have just taken over this campsite lovely location about 15 mins walk tothe pub or you can walk along side the riverbanks to worcester or droitwich. Unfortunately our motorhome broke down just as wegot to reception. David then offered and towed us to our pitch. We had to stay 2 more nights after our booking had expired and he also took us to the local shops to get some shopping. Lisa also offered to help us out the next day. Highly recommend this site lovely handy spot and very friendly owners. Hope to return under better circumstances

Lovely little camp site close to Worcester, Kidderminster and Droitwich. Campsite has a lovely cafe/shop and lovely toilets shower facilities. Very spacious pitches ( we had a basic non electric tent) and had lots of room without the feeling of being cramped in. Very well maintained and very friendly people! We had a lovely couple of days here and would definitely return!

Great site with camping pitches right next to a river, excellent facilities and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It's popular with families so there was a lot of noisy kids about but it was half term so fair enough. Would definitely return but probably not during school holidays. If camping in a tent I'd recommend pitches 64-65 as they're in a quieter corner away from the caravans.

Camping is not really my thing but my children love it so we often go. We had 3 pitches for two nights. The site is beautiful. Literally the cleanest showers and toilets that I’ve ever seen on a campsite. Site Wardens we’re so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning

Great family run site. Spacious pitches, very clean and tidy facilities . There is a small shop and they also sell camping gas. On a bus route into Worcester for exploring. Well worth a visit. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. We enjoyed our weekend stay but unfortunately, while we were there, my wife fell ill however the site Warden Vivien and her husband Gary were really helpful and supportive . We can not thank them enough. We would certainly stay there again.
