We had a fantastic one night stay. The staff were excellent - friendly, thoughtful and helpful. We were originally in Sorrel room but got changed to the larger room called Angelica as our original room was so hot(its over the kitchen and staff were concerned that once cooking started in the evening we would be uncomfortable) and it was the...

When we arrived the car park was empty... The reception and bar were closed and there was no sign of any staff members. However, we stuck with it and went from room to room until we found someone, and we were then distraught as we were shouted at by a person saying awfully aggressive words to us. My wife was...

I don't know what's happened but there was no food available, nothing to drink and the rooms were dirty and appeared ransacked! Some of the Staff were friendly enough, some confused and some may have been under the influence. I can't say I won't be visiting again as the company I work for takes us to some unusual venues. I...

Hundred House Hotel is a lovely looking building from the outside with wonderful surroundings. Unfortunately the inside is very dated and in need of some TLC. I stayed here with my family the night before my wedding at The Curradine Barns (fairytale venue). This is one of the closest hotels to the venue and has the potential to tap into...

Awful stay at this hotel last weekend!! Our room wasn't situated in the hotel itself but in an outbuilding round the back of the kitchens to the rear of the hotel! You stepped straight from outside into the room. It was full of spiders and other bugs (which probably came underneath the gap on the door. ) we couldn't connect...

This hotel has the potential to be absolutely stunning but is desperately in need of being updated. Rooms are spacious but beds were uncomfortable and lacks any character or charm. It reminded me of my Nan's house! Breakfast was lovely, well cooked and lots of it.

We stayed at the hotel because we were going to a wedding in the local area. First impressions of the reception were that it was a bit dated, however we checked-in quickly. Our room was off the main hotel in an separate chalet. The room was very oldfashioned and reminded me of my gran's bungalow (before she updated it!) The...

This hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable but it does need updating. The staff, especially the gentleman on the reception were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentyful.

Stayed here one night whilst walking through the area. The hotel is right alongside the main road but that doesn't seem to intrude inside. The staff were friendly enough. My room was spacious and well appointed, likewise the bathroom. But the whole hotel needs an uplift. The bar areas are rather characterless. Had a good evening meal although the breakfast...

We have never stayed at the hotel but have enjoyed Sunday lunch here several times over the last few years. We decided to visit today as I had forgotten to get the meat out of the freezer this morning!! For £13.50 you get three courses with several choices for each course. Today I enjoyed breaded butterfly prawns with garlic dip,...
