Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our second visit its a lovely and friendly site, there are lots of seasonal pitch's on there and they couldn't make you feel more welcome. Owner zips round in his buggy just like his dad, checking everyone is happy. Again I would like to thank the lady cleaning the showers etc she does a cracking job. Fantastic location just a short walk down to the bay. Watching the dolphins in the bay from the pub does not get any better!! This place has my heart, I will be back 💓 Natasha, Jason and border collie Patch xx

Fabulous location over looking the sea. Site is on a slope so recommend wedges to get levels. Superb shower - powerful and hot. Toilets exceptionally clean. Stayed one night stop over and owner gave us some great info to continue our exploration of Wales. Worth a visit and will recommend to friends.

The site is in a great spot with fabulous views over the sea. You could walk into New Quay if you don’t mind the up hill walk back. Shops and pubs in The town itself and of course the beach. We were camping in the top field. We were three tents. We were put pretty close together which as we were together didn’t really matter. However if we’d not been together it would have been too close (guy ropes touching). We had electric hook up which was run off a generator at the top of the field. This was a bit noisy at night but worked well for us. It was a bit of a walk down to the toilet block. Luckily the weather was dry. Wouldn’t have been a great walk in the rain. The shower and toilet blocks themselves were clean and tidy on the whole. The only one problem was there wasn’t enough of them. In the ladies there were three toilets and three showers. For such a large site I would say they need more. There were often queues. I wouldn’t not go to the site again but I’d definitely me mindful of the facilities.

Just want to respond to the Damning review. Peter Wendy and Fiona have had a really bad year. I think the review is not a true reflection of the site. Ok the site does have its faults, but to say it’s like faulty towers is wrong. It’s one of the best positions in Ceredigion. Peter will do his best to help you out. Don’t let a bad review put you off visiting this Little gem.

The site is basically just a large field with some gravel pitches & the EHU is not powerful enough when the demand is at its highest, in the evenings mainly. We arrived & as there is no reception we rang the mobile number. The very pleasant owner came over from his nearby farm to show us our pre-booked hard standing pitch, except there wasn’t a spot reserved - we were told to just pick a spot, wherever we liked, that had EHU. We chose a spot for the first night but moved to a different pitch the following day when one with a better view became free. The shower block is a portacabin but was kept clean & had hot water. We were at the far side of the field so the showers & elsan point were about 200 metres from us, although there was a tap very close. Some of the sited caravans looked in very poor condition with weeds surrounding their wheels & looked as though they’d just been dumped. At £30 per night it isn’t cheap but New Quay is a lovely spot in a beautiful area.

Just spent two fantastic nights at the site. The facilities are immaculate and kept that way. We stayed in a tent at the top end of the field and the wind was pretty bad so best to note where the wind is coming from and pitch according to the conditions. Also note that the facilities are quite a walk from the top end of the field so tenters beware. I have been coming to this site for many years and the farmer is very friendly inspite of all everything that's been thrown at them in 2020. The Inn next to the site is wonderful too with very friendly professional staff who were on the ball with Covid precautions and made our cat very happy during his stay. Well recommended...

Hi, Please note that the picture posted in the last review is the unfortunately the remnants of the storm we had last week which destroyed the awning. The caravan in the picture is not "left to rot", This picture is not indicative of this site, you only need to read the other reviews to see that this a great place to stay. The toilets and showers are spotless and new. I cannot recommend this place enough.
