Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Family holiday, first time in Wales and Aberystwyth. This was the middle of three stops around Wales and was the very best, in terms of a charming seaside location, with a nice, partly partitioned room, a view of the sea from our window and reqlly friendly and helpful staff when we asked for help. Many eating places a hop and a skip away. Had really lovely walks along the promenande, on the beach, to the castle, old University, museum, up Aberystwyth cliff railway and around the town. Just a perfect family holiday. Thanks to the team at Premier Inn Aberystwyth!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here in early March. I have been suffering from mobility problems so we wanted to try a break away as an experiment. We booked an accessible room. This was very large and to Premier Plus standard, with fridge, coffee machine, etc. The bed and washbasin were lowered and there were many grab handles etc. The bathroom was a good sized wetroom. Parking was no problems as long as you returned to the hotel fairly early before the carpark filled up each evening. The staff were very helpful, without exception; always very kind and cheerful. We thought the breakfasts were very good and the although the choice of dinners was limited, for a short break the food was adequate. If you can get out and about, there are other restaurants within walking distance.

The room was ok. Would have been better if there wasnt a loose electronics panel, especially with children around. The room was clean however black marks on the sealant around the bath were a putoff and an easy fix. AC range limited 19°-24°. Breakfast was nice but variety could have been a bit better. Some parts of the hotel look nice, others look a bit run down and could be solved with a lick of paint. Staff were friendly, polite and approachable. Would definatly use this hotel again.

Comfortable nights sleep and I found the room very clean. The gentleman on reception (I believe that his name was Chris) was extremely helpful in recommending nice places to go out to eat. If you want an extra pillow, reception are happy to sort this out for you. Will definitely return.

Stayed here with my daughter for the night, was very impressed with how tidy and quite the hotel was. During breakfast chris gave my daughter a colouring book which was so sweet. He made my daughters day which meant I was more relaxed and able to enjoy my breakfast. Will definitely be booking again. Well done all

Well designed disability access bathroom, even a shower stool that was actually fit for purpose and grab handles in the right places. Nice large comfy bed & extra pillows provided. All nice and clean. Very helpful staff and well cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Would have preferred a sea view but we could see the cliff railway from our window and the room was a good size. One or two little niggles. The corridors leading to the rooms are rather narrow and getting round corners can be difficult with a scooter, especially when having to negotiate heavy fire doors. One shelf and no drawer space in our room. No proper bar with no beers on tap and staff stopped serving wine and bottled beers bang on 11 pm. Car park is open to anyone prepared to pay and consequently, we often found it was full up. Blue badge spaces limited to just 3, which was wholly inadequate. As we had booked months in advance, paid a reasonable price for a room in the area and given the central location and friendly staff, would use this Premier Inn again when next in town. Wouldn't bother with a premier room as this doesn't guarantee you a sea view

We spent two nights here during a Rabbie’s Wales tour. We had beautiful views of the promenade and beach. Our room was super spacious and with huge windows. There are two entries to this hotel. It’s very quiet and peaceful. We walked to a nearby Tesco Superstore, but there are other smaller shops close by too. Our room keys kept malfunctioning, but staff were quick to replace them with a smile.

Wonderful, friendly, warm and efficient staff. Our room had an amazing sea view and was nicely partitioned. Evening meal wasn’t to our taste, but breakfast was brilliant and we were well looked after.
