Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed the one night and the room was lovely until.. we couldn't find a bin in the room so I took the small bin from the bathroom which was dusty and dirty. I found the bin the next day hidden, tucked in behind the desk. The 'double bed' were 2 singles pushed together but they were comfy until every time we turned over in the night both of us would fall into the gap! In the morning, I went into the bathroom which stank which was probably the drains. Shower was dirty with clumps of hair in the drain. The wall to the left of the loo was dirty and would have been easy to wipe off with a wet cloth. Not a very pleasant stay. We weren't bothered by the carpet which had patches on not sure if it was stains or burnt patches. The towels were very old and rough and one was full of holes so we didn't use it. I had booked this via Agoda with the option for breakfast but after I paid it hadn't shown and turned out we had to pay extra £20 for breakfast which I turned down and didn't get a response when I requested an upgrade to the offer that was advertised afterwards online so we went to wetherspoons for a much cheaper, better and bigger brekkie. I had complained to the company but no response and this is why iv come on here. Our room wasn't worth £76!

We booked this hotel on the spur of the moment, having made a late decision to visit Aberystwyth National Library of Wales. On arrival, outside is clean and tidy. Prompt service at reception. Our rooms were 27 and 28, in a block just outside by the parking area. No lift, reachable only by stairs. Our room was called 'superior Double' and on entering, was bright, spacious and clean. Very comfy bed, plenty of tea coffee AND milks which makes a very pleasant change! Only downsides we could find was that we only had a shower (very roomy mind), rather than a bath and the duvet on the bed was way too narrow for the size of the bed. We had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was hearty, plentiful and very good value. May we make the following recommendations to the hotel? 1. Add another bannister to the stairwell to aid ease in climbing the stairs 2. In rooms with the extra wide bed, to increase the size of the duvet as the ones given are too small for full coverage.

The owner is a total Con Artist. He books you into his hotel and then says your stay will be in his council house. I'm blind impaired and badly disabled, I couldn't get my money back despite cancelling in the terms of the 4 seasons cancellation policy. The owner Emir Davies is a slimy conman. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

Be care if booking the superior suite via booking.com. It is not as it is advertised. The extra large double bed is actually a standard double, there is no spa bath and no living room as the pictures suggest. Breakfast is ok if a bit greasy. The hotel car park is also tiny with spaces for only 5 small cars.

A really friendly welcome. My daughter and I booked a huge twin room with comfy beds. The location was central - just a row behind the promenade and you could hear the waves crashing whilst laying in bed. I especially liked that the hotel hadn’t skimped on the milks for making tea. Such a refreshing change. I was doing parkrun in the morning and the ladies kindly let us have a slightly late breakfast to fit it in and were so accommodating.

Please, please, please read the reviews about this horror story of a hotel before booking to stay here. It is without doubt the worst hotel, that I have ever stayed in. The owner is a rude, arrogant, abusive person. How he has kept this place running, I will never know. I would rather sleep in my car, than stay at the Four seasons.

Absolute nightmare. Extremely noisy, didn't get more than an hours sleep. To conclude, alarm went off at 4.00am due to water leak, all stood outside then all rooms were visited to view bathroom and asked if I'd just had a shower!!!!....., not another visit I'm afraid 😕
