Stayed here for the first time whilst visiting family. We enjoyed our time spent at this wonderful location and will return again. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Located down a narrow track lane just five minutes out of the town. Very clean with historical features.

Stayed for two nights. Lovely suite- Lord Byron. Helpful staff and friendly atmosphere. Disappointed with restaurant, as vegetarians we thought there would have been at least a choice of 2 or 3 vegetarian options considering it was £35 for two courses. However there was no choice , it was take it or leave it. The second day of our stay...

We booked this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and the geographical fact that it was at the end of a beautiful drive through the Brecon Becons. The drive was stunning and the weather was kind which meant we got to enjoy all the Autumn colours and large scenery. The Nanteos Mansion is a majestic country house hosting a hotel, most...

We made a welcome return to Nanteos Mansion after 3 years & it lived up to past expectations. The setting is glorious , the food superb, attentive staff & the bedroom (Byron) clean & spacious albeit a little dark & gloomy in decor . Nice little touches include a large fresh jug of milk in the fridge , a good...

Beautiful hotel. Lovely friendly, professional but non-intrusive staff all-round. Food was incredible, particularly the evening set menus, complimented by a nice wine list. Honestly can not recommend this place highly enough

We stayed at the hotel for one night in August. The property is in a lovely location away from the main roads. As it is old it is a bit quirky. However we found it very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They even posted a blouse that my wife had left at...

My summary is 'boutique' Georgian country house, refurbished, restored, excellent restaurant, lovely staff. My wife and I have just had a wonderful couple of days here. We had a suite in the main house with views of the park which without doubt is the ideal, so keep an eye on offers etc which is what we did to get this....

Stayed at the Nanteos for 3 nights and have to report it was a mixture of feelings. Located some 3 miles from Aberystwyth town centre with the Sat-Nav accurately guiding us there, be aware though this is upto the Gate House with the mansion some 600 yds. beyond. Take these last few yards carefully on this single track road due...
