Made complaint re cleanliness of shower and bedding, Sue and Alex did not handle situation in professional manner. Liked enclosed dog area and grandchildren enjoyed watching red kites being fed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this camp site and change needs happen.
A wonderful welcome in the hills, just as you would expect from Wales. A great trip was had by all, met with kindness and made to feel welcome by the lovely Lyn. Looking forward to the next trip, see you next year.
I was looking for a family friendly campsite to book for our group & found aeron view campsite near Aberystwyth by chance, our group consisted of 4 adults, 2 teenagers, a 8yr old & 7yr old, when we arrived we were met by Lyn who couldn’t do enough for us, the children run off to the little playground & us adults set up camp in peace, the facilities were very clean & tidy, the campsite supplied outdoor children’s games on loan (for which you could make a small donation). around 4pm Lyn feeds the red kites, it’s the most amazing sight you will see! The children had a thoroughly magical time, some people complained about noise but our group can honestly say that there wasn’t any noise, it’s a family oriented campsite so after children went to bed everyone sat by their campfires to enjoy the starry skies.......We stayed for 4 nights this time & we have booked 5 nights for next year already! Looking forwards to our next trip with sue & Alex the friendliest campsite in Wales!…
Absolutely loved this campsite staff are so so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty to see and do loved the red kite feeding on site. Definitely recommend this small friendly quiet site. Very safe for children also. Already booked my pitch for next summer.
Booked a weeks stay in 2 bed static caravan, for 4 adults and 2 dogs , when we arrived the caravan was ready and lovely and clean , it was like good old camping we used to have with our children, barbecue area , children’s playground and even an enclosed dog walk so you could let them off the lead safely , there’s a little shed to borrow games and other things , also crafts on sale , also local information on places to visit , the only thing is they haven’t yet got tv installed, but there a DVD player and films to watch , we watched tv on our IPads , as we got a good enough signal through our 3 mi fi , it’s so peaceful and friendly, we just loved it ,I have nothing negative to say about and that’s unusual for me , if like us you don’t fit in at the all singing and dancing parks like us , then this is the place to go , the red kites are amazing, thanks for a lovely week , who to see you again soon , Bev and Ste xxxxx…
Aeron view camping experience was simply fantastic. From red kites, to cute sheep and fantastic clean facilities that were allocated just for us. Sue and Alex were very friendly, and even let us borrow an axe! If we are ever in the area again, we won't hesitate to visit again.
We really enjoyed our stay in our small tent camping at Aeron View Camping 28/6/21 - 3/6/21. The site is quiet and in a great, central location… Just perfect for days out in the beautiful, picturesque area around. The owners, Sue and Alex are very friendly. The facilities were very clean and we were allocated a shower and toilet solely for our own use for the duration of our stay. There is free WiFi, which played Spotify perfectly on my iPad. Alex fed the Red Kites whilst we were there, which was fantastic to see. ‘Thank you Alex’. We enjoyed trips out to the coast, Aberystwyth, Hafod Estate and Bwlch Nant Yr Arian. All were good days out! There is plenty left to see and do on our next visit. There is a Local Store, Spar Shop, Butchers etc in the nearby village for essentials. There is a lovely lady named Lyn in one of the static caravans who was happy to share her local knowledge with a smile and a friendly chat… Hi Lyn 😁 We recommend Aeron View Camping and hope to return in the near future.…
Alex and Sue were great, everyone was very hospitable, great location with stunning views and facilities, great surrounding area, when Alex feeds the Red Kites its a sight to behold, even a short 10 minute walk was a fantastic connection with the land, loved it many thanks.
We had a lovely stay.It was our first stay in a static. The weather wasn't the best but the caravan made up for that. We felt really safe and the caravan was spotless when we arrived. We can't wait to come back again soon.
Fantastic little campsite. I had the campsite to myself and must say it was a great place to stay for the night! The facilities were extremely clean and well looked after. Set in a very quiet location I was able to get a good night's sleep and the owners were extremely helpful and polite! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever found myself exploring Wales again!
