Good location, friendly & efficient staff. Convenient restaurant. Clean & peaceful room. Coffee shop on the premises. All I needed! Handy for the University where I was working. Free car park. The WiFi was OK.

The WiFi didn't work it was so slow. I am a computer engineer and even I know that the system has major issues. Try doing a daily clear of cache. Lesson the amount of firewalls the system is being throttled. I got a quicker connection via my mobile service provider even at H+ I did better than what was provided by the hotel I was in room 113 the bed was so uncomfortable I could feel the springs it did not give a comfortable night's sleep my back ached in the morning maybe provide more than 1 pillow per person as well. We went to breakfast at around 8:30 when we arrived there was no egg an empty dish for scrambled eggs no offering for fried egg or poached egg & no black pudding and only a few pieces of bacon less to say we couldn't have a full breakfast as we wanted. Maybe just take an order of each person and cook to order as requested by each diner. Unfortunately I wouldn't be staying again.…

Modern room, clean and quiet. Good facilities. Very pleasant and helpful staff throughout the stay. Unfortunately we could not have dinner in the hotel because the restaurant was closed due to fryers not working...This was a problem because we had travelled for a long period to get there and been on our feet all day touring. We deliberately didnt eat out saving ourselves for hotel meal. My mother was too tired and uncomfortable to go back outside again. We ended up ordering in from Just Eat... and waited an hour and 15mins for that. The staff were thoroughly apologetic and helpful to get us sorted but I feel I have to highlight the restaurant being closed because it wast an inconvenience. Breakfast lovely, food plentiful and great options.

Venue is well located with easy parking facilities & very welcoming friendly staff covering all areas (reception/dining/check out) Room was very nice & more than met all expectations. Breakfast was yummy with a great range to suit all requirements. We will book again when next in Bangor Thanks

We've stayed here previously when dropping our daughter off ready to start Uni. Both times we had the same lovely guy on reception who remembered us from last time. He's very knowledgeable about the hotel and was super polite. Rooms are great, great location, fab views really comfortable beds, great shower, powerful and hot, regulate the heating yourself, really quiet. It's such a lovely building in a scenic area, we love it here. Breakfast hot, delicious, plenty of choice, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, toasts, and full hot choices with choice of eggs. Great value too. Well done guys

Stayed here for two nights when visiting my child at Uni - location very good - easy access to town centre and by road to the wider area - car parking great - very large room with all the equipment you could need - of special note was the large number of sockets in the room which were useful - beds were comfortable and bathroom very clean - breakfast was included and was very tasty and there was also a great view - of particular note were that staff, who were all outstanding, especially the lady who welcomed me into breakfast each morning I will definitely return

Large room with spacious bathroom and good size shower. Beds were comfy. Had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. Perfect location for uni open day (our purpose) and convenient to be able to park there while we attended the open day. Breakfast service wasn't great - no tables at first so had to go away and come back, then hot food wasn't very well stocked - staff did apologise and said the chef was preparing more but it took too long so just had what was there, which was nice. Layout of the building is very confusing with lots of going up stairs and then back down only to have to go back up again!

The room was fine though the toilet wasn't working. Unfortunately I was not able to get any food as there was no available space in the restaurant even though there were tables free. The receptionist tried to argue with the chef but he stood his ground and I had to go into town to find something to eat. i would have expected some form of catering at the establishment, located in the university and relatively far from any of the main Bangor restaurants.
