This place is rip off. The price should include breakfast, but you are told when you book, the kitchen isn't open. Hello?? Very old & musky!! The heating is turned off during the day despite it being cold when we went to Bangor. The hot water is also switched off - if there is more than 1 person using the shower (a couple) , you will find that the hot water runs out!! TERRIBLE!! The reviews of this place are totally misleading. Additionally, there are ticks on the ceiling...if you should be unlucky and you get bitten by one, you could possibly end up with Lyme Disease!! AVOID this place at all costs. Stay next door instead if you need to!!

First impression are lasting impressions - our warm welcome was the perfect start to the evening after a busy day. Stephanie could not have been more charming, our room was good and the location perfect for our short stay, close to the front and Main Street watering holes

I was stuck in Wales with not a hotel room to be had until i pulled into Baytree Lodge, To say i was greeted with excellence is an understatement. The lady that looked after me was so pleasant and helpful she is worth her weight in gold. The room was lovely, it was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Only a 3 min walk to the main street it was a very pleasant stay overall. I will definitely be back especially for what i paid for the room.

This is accommodation for a short stay, we did not have much choice at last minute. The place is dated and could do with some modern touch but the owner was very nice and advised us few places to go. Bangor was very quiet ,nothing to do on Sat night, not easy to find a good place to eat. We set off very early and went to Anglesey!!

After booking a short break for myself and partner, we arrived to a very dated hotel. Shown to room and informed that they were not serving breakfast, even though its a bed and breakfast and that is what we paid for. No discount given for breakfast missing. the room had very damp walls that paper was coming off. The room door had a very flimsy lock, the sort you would have on a bathroom. Tiles were loose on bathroom floor. General condition of room and fitments was poor and dirty. Should have known that a place that had availability on bank holiday, at last minuet would not be good.

A very average B&B. The owner is lovely but the place itself isn't great. Weird noises from the water works, uncomfortable beds, and during the pandemic no breakfast on offer. Which other bed and breakfast establishments have managed. It's fine, just fine, but really not worth the cash. Bangor itself is a very tired town and not worth a visit unless passing thru.

A warm welcome, shown to our room instead of being given a key and pointed in general direction. It was really clean and the en suite had a bath. Unable to offer breakfast due to COVID, we had a complimentary fruit basket in the room.

Lovely owner and staff. Good-sized room with everything you could wish for - nice scenic views of the park from rooms set-back from the road (so the accommodation is quiet). Very clean and ample parking too. Will be returning next time I'm in Bangor.
