We went round Caernarfon castle, then we looked through town for a pub to eat and drink, but we found this place by the river/estuary and it was very welcoming, all the staff were lovely, there was no long wait for our very tasty food and the views were just glorious. All in all, a good dam choice to go!

Happy staff, dogfriendly with cosy rooms. No en suite bathroom but we were the only guests so that wasn't a problem. Good, central location with a view over the straits and parts of caernarfon castle.

We were having a wander around Caernarfon when we thought it was time for some refreshment, came round the corner from harbour area following the castle walls when we found this place. There was live music going on outside and with a great view across the Menai Straits with a drink in hand on a lovely sunny day what more...

A party of 4 of us arrived on 7 Oct for 2 nights. On check in we were asked to settle up in advance, which we thought was a little strange. The rooms were definately not worth the money. No wardrobe, only a couple of hooks on the door in one room to hang things on and in the other...

We have used the Anglesey Arms many times before but only to call in for a quick drink. This time however because of the much improved condition of the place we stayed and had lunch. You couldn't get better or more pleasent service so we will be back to enjoy more of the same in the very near future.
