We stayed here during part of a month long holiday in Wales, and it is the only place we stayed in that we would not go back to again. The room itself was basically fine; clean and comfortable, with a good shower. There was a lot of noise from the plumbing which was disturbing. However, the thing that made the... More

Lovely place to stay! Right in the middle of the city. June & Jess were great hosts. They were very accommodating and always a pleasure to interact with. We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed a great view of the sunset both nights.

Stayed here for 1 night with my son whilst on a climbing holiday in Snowdonia.. The location is within easy walk of the harbour, pubs, restaurants etc and is ideally situated for the north Wales coast and Snowdonia national park. A great welcome on arrival from the owner who not only showed us round but gave us great local information... More

If you're a biker and looking for somewhere to stay in Caernarfon then look no further. The friendly, biking owners are friendly and only too willing to offer travel advice from pub recommendations to roads to ride. They let us lock our bikes in their private lockable driveway which gave us piece of mind during our stay. The breakfast in... More

We only stayed one night at Marianfa and whilst our hosts were welcoming there was nowhere to park. We had to park some way down the street and make several trips back and forth with our luggage. Our room was adequate but we were glad it was only for one night. There was no guest lounge room and our room... More

We booked this room on a booking site that advertised the family room as having a balcony. To begin with the room was expensive because the prices were increased for the Easter holidays. The room does not have parking (which we knew when booking it), and it was a tight fit to get a spot on the street outside. When... More

Stayed 1 night for an event in the town which is a 10min walk away. Owner was very friendly & flexible with check in / out times to accommodate the event timings and also recommending local restaurants. Would certainly return if in the area again.

Our stay at Marianfa was great! Fantastic location, a mere 5 minute walk from the town centre. June (the one owner) was incredibly helpful giving us ideas of were to go and what to do as well as directions and name dropping at the local pharmacy as we needed some medical attention. The rooms were comfortable and clean and while... More
