Room spotless and beautiful. Massive comfy bed. Plenty of room. Decor lovely and authentic. Although not advertised as having parking spaces, a phone call explaining limited mobility due to a broken foot and they offered us parked just behind the hotel. Meal at the hotel was delicious. They have a chef of excellent pedigree. Breakfast too was spot on. Their homemade blackpudding was to die for. Poached eggs in Eggs benedict perfect too. Staff really attentive. We will stay there again.

No personality in waitress. Didn’t speak when we arrived, just took us to table. Brought drinks and again didn’t speak and just put drinks across table instead of walking round with each persons. Not a good first impression, however food was good.

The food was delicious and the wine was lovely. However, we went based on the recommendation they were family friendly. We popped in on the Friday night to see if there was a table and our 3 year old son was looked at as though he was a bad smell by a number of staff. On the second night, we booked a table at 4:45 so nice and early. Our waitress was lovely but other members of staff were not nice. We were in a large restaurant with very few occupied table. Our little boy went to the otherside of the room at the waitress threw him daggers followed by manager telling him and us off and then getting cross with our waitress. He was a 3 year old being a three year old and walking over towards a table that was empty. He was causing no harm. I would not recommend this establishment if you have young chimdren.

Visiting a friend who treated us to lunch, one of the party has health issues and needed a soft meal, so had soup, she knew it had harrissa in it, when it arrived it was too spicy for her, so she asked for cream to cool it, which they gladly bought her. The sandwiches were big and came with chips and a fantastic pineapple and carrot chutney. The chutney was delicious could have eaten a bowl of it. We had coffee one of our party delighted that they did a lovely liquor coffee and I had a latte which was really good. Our other friend had ice cream which she said was excellent. The food coming out looked very good and the staff were very prompt and helpful it was very good.

Visited 3 - 5th October, and our room was on the 3rd Floor. Beautiful large room with a beautiful bed and bathroom. The downside was the wardrobe which was very small for our clothing. It was very comfortable with adequate tea and coffee facilities, biscuits and water. Staff superb and food delicious. Lovely bar areas and dining facilities. A highly recommended place to stay.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Erskine Arms, staying in Y Capel opposite. The Old Chapel was converted sensitively in 2019 and our room was lovely - pleasant, light and spacious. Immaculately clean with crisp white bed linen and super comfy bed. Nice en-suite with shower. There was a communal area with a small kitchen (to make drinks) and comfortable sofas which we appreciated after a day out. Dinner in the Erskine Arms was excellent, great menu and delicious food in a buzzy atmosphere. Brilliant customer service from Morgan - she was so warm, friendly and efficient. Best to book as it was packed on the two evenings we ate there. I would have given 5 stars but breakfasts were patchy with problems in taking food orders, etc, on two mornings (not when Morgan was on duty though!). Conwy is a great place to stay with interesting historic castle and near National Trust properties such as Bodnant Gardens and Plas Newydd.

Absolute rip off . May be dog friendly but £9.95 for 4 very small queen scollops and £4.25 for 10 chips is disgraceful. At least dick turpin wore a mask when he robbed you. Would not go again due to cost of food. . Just short of £13 for a fish finger butty .

A beautiful refurbished hotel inside despite a rather plain facade right by Conway Castle. A number of eating areas and a cosy bar downstairs. Varied menu . Bedrooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff were all very professional welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order with quality ingredients. This is how to run a quality hotel ! Well done.

Prior to arriving at the Erskine Arms, we had been told we could not book a table where dogs are allowed to stay so I arrived nice and early at 5.30 as I have two disabled sons who get stressed easily and we were meeting my parents and were pleased to have found a table, only to be told it was reserved at 7pm by residents of the hotel ! ( very confused !) The lady at the bar said we could stay as long as we vacated by7 , and we realised we needed an extra chair and told by another member of the team we could add an extra chair to our table if we could find one - then told the said chair we did find from the restaurant could not be moved. Several minutes later, the host came to our table to say we could no longer stay on the table as by now it was almost 6 pm and unlikely we would be served and finished in time - so when tables did become available outside we moved quickly - but yet again needed a few extra chairs - this time we borrowed one of the chairs from the table we were moved on from because it was only booked for 3 - another member of the team took the chair back telling my husband it wasn’t to be used outside because of the sun but when my husband pointed out it was in the shade - she said ‘it might rain’ ( it was a glorious evening!) my husband got a frustrated with her at this point as it was clear staff didn’t want to help us ! sadly my youngest son had started to become very anxious and my husband asked if they actually wanted our custom and we were asked to leave ! It was an awful confusing and exceptionally embarrassing experience - we went to the Mulberry instead and they were accommodating and very kind ( as were other customers) and even went out of their way to help - the food was delicious . Please sort your customer service out Erskine Arms and consider diversity and inclusion !
