Glan Heulog is one of the nicest and best guest houses we have ever stayed in. We were very warmly welcomed by Jenny who made us feel instantly at home. As soon as you enter this house you are aware of the care and hospitality it offers. Everywhere is beautifully and tastefully decorated. We were in room 3 which was fabulous. The owners have put a lot of hard work into making this place very special with lots of thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delicious cooked by Jenny and served by her lovely daughter Becky. An extensive menu with delicious, expertly cooked food. A good assortment of teas were available as well as coffee, cerials, fresh fruits, yoghurts and toast. Glan heulog is in a quiet, peaceful location within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Conway. We would highly recommend Glan heulog and sincerely wish Jenny, Chris and Rebecca every success for the future

Glan Heulog is a joy to visit. Chris, Jenny and Becky work hard and cheerfully to make their guests' experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be. They are kind, caring, informative, helpful, welcoming and generally wonderful.

Our room was spotlessly clean, excellently appointed and had a view of Conwy Castle to the north and the mountains to the south. There was a communal fridge on the first floor landing.

The breakfasts are wonderful. The cold selection is plentiful. The cooked breakfasts freshly cooked, piping hot and substantial enough to keep one satisfied through the day. One table is made available for use in the evening should guests wish to provide their own take-away meals.

The town centre is a short walk away. There is also an excellent fish and chip shop approximately 400 metres from Glan Heulog.

MrsCapricorn absolutely loved staying here, save for one thing - the car park. For this the Jones family are not to blame: geography is as geography does and short of blasting a large hole in the hillside, one just has to live with it. The approach is very steep and turning space at a premium. Vehicles with low ground clearance risk grounding at the bottom of the drive. It is far from ideal, but the other delights of the house make up for it.

To sum up, I cannot recommend Glan Heulog highly enough. If you are touring North Wales or actually staying in Conwy, accept no substitute.

We stayed 3 nights in Glan Heulog and were generally very satisfied. We were very kindly welcomed by the hostess. In hindsight we should have read the instructions a bit more carefully as we walked from the station via a long detour. The much more convenient passage through the parking lot is not on google maps, something to keep in mind.

The room has a very relaxed and warm atmosphere and all the furniture in it is of good quality. The only drawback we found was that both the room and the bathroom were a bit on the cramped side: we couldn't store our luggage properly and it was sometimes a bit difficult to maneuver.
The breakfast was quite good: in addition to the available fruits, cereals and yogurt (unfortunately the plain unflavoured was not always available), it was possible to ask for hard boiled / scrambled egg etc.

Although there is a road not too far from the guest house, we still found it wonderfully quiet here and we were not bothered by car traffic at all.

We would definitely recommend a visit to this guesthouse to others!

My partner and I stayed here in Nov, the guesthouse is located just behind the castle within walking distance of Conwy, arriving a little earlier than the check in time were able to go straight up to the room.

The room its self had been clean and spacious.

Breakfast the next morning had been great, offering a good choice of cereals, juice, fruit and cooked items.

The hosts at Glan Heulog were so accommodating and friendly and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed 1 night at short notice, and this place ticked all the boxes for us. We got a very warm welcome from Jenny, everything was very clean and looked recently decorated, easy parking, comfy bed, good shower, nice towels and flannels (always a plus from me ) good WiFi, plenty of electric and usb sockets for the multitude of chargers we are always carrying, fridge available with fresh milk. Lots of choices for breakfast , plenty of fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt and cereal, specialty teas and decaf options, breakfasts cooked to order, plus we could get a 730 breakfast to make the most of the next day. Jenny said they took over the property last August, but to me everything was very polished, well thought out and professional. Thanks Jenny and Chris, we’d stay here again.

This was such a nice guest house. The location is super – a nice hillside perch and an easy walk into Conwy. The owners are very friendly and accommodating – ready with helpful suggestions and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Our room, though a bit small, was perfectly comfortable. The table and chairs in the front yard were a perfect spot to enjoy an evening glass of wine. The only criticisms I have: wish there were screens in the windows so we could have slept with the fresh night breeze blowing in (but I’m not sure screens are a thing in Wales?), and we would have really liked a living room/lounge area to hang out in at night. House size dictated the only common room be dedicated to breakfast service as the owners live on property in the rest of the downstairs area.

Stopped for one night at Glan Heulog Guest House, Conwyn, Snowdonia, and found my en-suite room very comfortable, newly decorated and spotless, Comfy double bed with crisp, white sheets and a lovely fluffy, feather duvet! Tea and coffee facilities with biscuits, TV, USB points, free WiFi. Breakfast with assorted juices, fresh fruit, yoghurts, choice of cereals, fully cooked breakfast with choices, toast, tea/coffee etc. Beautifully cooked. Jenny and Chris gave me a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks.

Charming B&B. Rooms have character, but not a lot of space. Owners were lovely & helpful. Convenient location with parking up a steep hill. Small breakfast room (closed during day) and 1 tiny patio is only common room. Includes hot breakfast, fruit, cereal, and yogurt.

The room was beautiful and bright. Loved that there were so many electrical outlets. Both of our phones could charge at the same time. Great view. Great location. Breakfast was scrumptious. Able to leave luggage during our last morning of touring prior to catching the train.

There is a car park but up a very steep hill. You would do best to park outside guesthouse on road.
