Number 18 is one of the very few properties offering bed and breakfast accommodation situated within the medieval walls of Conwy Town. We are located directly opposite Conwy Castle, offering guests some of the finest views of both the castle and the town walls. The guest house, owned and managed by John & Melissa Esplen-Metcalf, was built in the Victorian era around 1849 and has been restored and upgraded to provide individually decorated and furnished en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation. Number 18 benefits from being close to several pay and display car parks offering overnight parking for as little as £0.60. Due to the age and location of our property there are stairs to access all our rooms & no lift, please view our website before booking if the is a concern. We hope to welcome you to Number 18 very soon.

We stayed here on our mini-tour of North Wales. It is a delightfully quirky hotel with beautiful interesting decor, with lovely little touches everywhere. The breakfast came in a wicker hamper and was sensational, my partner and I are both vegan and they delivered us a real treat. The hotel is situated right opposite the old wall and a 2 minute walk from the castle, pubs and restaurants just around the corner, and there's a public car park across the road. I cannot recommend Number 18 highly enough. If you stay here you will love it. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Great location can see the castle from your bedroom window. Comfy bed, nice shower, lovely breakfast everything was perfect and lovely hosts. But most of all what we really enjoyed was the decor and the little touches made everything so quirky and homely. Could have stayed here longer really enjoyed it.

Stumbled across this B&B whilst trawling the Internet. What an absolutely fantastic, awesome, amazing, quirky, retro place this is. Location is amazing, almost touching the Castle Walls in the centre of Conwy. Hosts are fantastic, nothing is overlooked. Will definitely return.

Wow... This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The rooms are super clean, very quirky and retro 70's. We had the the suite which was of ample size with a small sitting area where we stored our cases and clothes. There was more tea, coffee ,hot chocolate and milk than I've ever seen provided before in any hotel, we even were left with snacks and welsh cakes (which were beautiful). A bottle of beer and a small gin were also in the room as a small treat. The bathroom was very clean and the products supplied were lovely. Breakfast was served in our room as they had just opened up after covid-19, but we couldn't of asked for more. It came in a basket with a cafitiere of coffee and fresh fruit, it was absolutely beautiful. Melissa is a fabulous host and made us feel at home, she suggested places to eat and drink and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back, in fact we've already re booked. A*****
