This is a great hotel with easy access to everywhere. Think oldy worldy and you won't be disappointed. There is a private small car park opposite. Our first room was a little dated and overlooked the main street. It was blowing a gale and the windows rattled so we asked if there

Nice large room overlooking the main street; comfy beds. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. The convenient location made us overlook the faded decor and the terrible artificial flowers!

Is this a dog friendly hotel?
I din't see any dogs when there, and agree with Chrissie that as it's situated in the town centre with no green space accessible it may be a difficult one with a dog.

I don't think it would be suitable. There are steps everywhere. While we were there a man with 2 sticks was struggling up the stairs to the restaurant for breakfast. There was no lift or stair lifts that I could see.

Is there secure parking?
There is a carpark opposite the hotel,on the other side of the road. The car park itself, when I visited was quite unkempt, rutted and dirty. there is no gate or anything on the entrance but I had no problems leaving the car while I was at the hotel. There is on street parking outside the hotel but I am not sure of the time limits etc. Hope this helps.
