What a beautiful little town. The Wynnstay Arms is great for lunch in the cosy historic Inn. Great service and tasty good value grub. Stunning setting in North Wales with great river walks for you and your four legged friends.

Booked a spa weekend with my sister. The Wynnstay Hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The service in the hotel and spa was fantastic and the facilities were clean and well presented. Compliments to the chef as the food was incredible. The rooms were clean if not a little tired, the bathroom had been recently refitted and looked great, we could...

Our second visit to this tucked away watering hole 😀 we came here a couple of months ago and found the food 🍴 delicious 😋,so having walked across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct we popped in again to refuel,a wee bit quieter now at the end of September but a welcoming glow from the fire set in the Inglenook made it feel...

Tremendous value for money, 2 good sized main meals for £10, with a wide selection of meals to choose from. To give an example, we had 2 Steak and Ale pies with home cut proper chips and peas, 1 omelette salad and chips, a pint of real ale, pot of tea and a diet coke, all for less than £20....

The weather was a bit iffy as we were walking around the town and after browsing a few antique shops with our two dogs we made our way into the nice beer garden for some shelter and a coffee. We were told we could come inside with our pets if they were well behaved . A lovely cosy place with...

Myself & a group of friends planned a mountain biking weekend in the Llangollen area. We Booked at the Wynnstay on the strength of its reviews & we weren't disappointed. There are 2 bunkhouses in the courtyard of the pub, one with 2 bunk beds, the other with a double & a single bed. Both bunkhouses have en suite &...

Sat outside on a belting hot Sunday. Neither of us had the set lunch which looked fab. We chose from the menu and we were not disappointed. Good value with a super atmosphere and friendly staff. Only downside because of its position there are no views.

Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. The pool table and juke box make for an entertaining evening with family. Staff were very attentive to members of our group who weren't feeling well, offering hot drinks and ensuring they were comfortable.
