We stayed here after a very long day of travel, including the ferry over from Dublin, and found it to be just the right spot for a good night's rest. The hotel has lovely grounds and a nice restaurant, along with friendly staff. We especially enjoyed strolling around outside the next morning, enjoying the boats in the marina just across...

The hotel is very convenient for the ferry port and is a good alternative for ferry users. I found the hotel clean and the bedroom and en-suite had recently been updated and a pleasant spot to stay for the night. Nice views from the room too. The evening meal was good quality and reasonably priced. Certainly no need to leave...

The staff here are friendly and helpful, the room was clean, fresh and had a modern feel. The Bathroom was modern but the shower was temperamental but nothing major. You can tell the rooms in the hotel have all been refurbished but the doors to rooms and the bathroom have not and do look somewhat out of place but again...

My wife and I dropped in for an evening meal and found the quality of the food and service excellent, with no exceptions. So much so that we came back the next morning for breakfast, as we were in Holyhead on Business, staying in the Travelodge. We will certainly return on our next trip and strongly recommend the Boathouse. Well...

Stayed for an overnight stop, the Hotel has a decent restaurant with a good choice. There are some nice views of the Marina and some good walks nearby. There is a bar area for those that require it. The room was a good size and clean.

Conveniently situated close to Holyhead Yatch Club and ideal for staying over when attending functions there, the ferry port is also close by. It has ample parking, and our room at least was spotless, clean white, crisp sheets on the bed, and bathroom was also spotless. From the outside it doesn't "shine" as being any other but ordinary, not to...

I wanted to give the Boathouse an Excellent rating, but the only reason I did not is because it does require a taxi from the ferry and train station. Too bad I arrived just before 10pm and did not have time or energy to walk along the beach. The staff checked me in quickly and kept the kitchen open so...

This was a one night stay because of the hotels proximity to the Irish Ferry Port! On entering and giving out confirmation number a young man carted all 3 luggages up the stairs…very welcomed gesture. There is not an elevator. We were given a clean comfortable for 3 people room with an ensuite bathroom. Although wifi was iffy it wasn't...
