Dave was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Holyhead is a port with lots of people coming and going, and the Beach Hut is perfect if you need a clean bed, clean room and a shower that works. We were a group of cyclists and we were made very welcome, we even had a safe place for...

I work getting seafarers on/off ships and booked this hotel for a seafarer joining a ship in Holyhead. The hotel asked if the gent had a mobile number so they could contact him and arranged to meet him off the train to take him to the property. Excellent customer service and the 1st time in 11 years of doing my...

Could be difficult to find and my GPS gave me incorrect info. Keep driving to the centre of the town, down the main road and you will find it on the left. There is no beach! I advised the owner, Dave that I was arriving after mid-night, so he left a key out for me. I found the key and...

.We booked for one night as it is close to the ferry. We checked in to a very small room up 2 steep flights of stairs. The young man did offer to help with the bags. The room was clean and the the beds comfortable. The big problem was the bathroom. The sink was so small there was no way...

I thought that I'd written a review for Christmas 2015, but apparently not! This was the second time I'd spent Christmas here, and it was again very comfortable. The Co-op was open on Christmas Eve, and Boots the Chemist was (surprisingly) open on Boxing Day. The weather was appalling, wind and heavy rain, but the room was warm. I was...

we arrived on the train and walked to the B&B. The host just arrived as we arrived as we got there and showed us to our room which was a little small on the 3rd floor. In the morning before taking the ferry we had to wait for our breakfast and the cook could not prepare what we wanted. Not...

We booked for 9, a family group, age 8 to 81, all catching the early ferry the next morning. We were PROMISED an outstanding cooked full 'Welsh' breakfast - several times was this reiterated, even as we booked in, 'time was no problem, it will all be sorted' he said. We were insistent - the ferry departure time meant we...

Easy to reach when getting off the Dublin - Holyhead ferry. Lovely little place. Rooms are small but with a fantastic view on the sea and boats. Staff is nice and friendly, we had left the bags in the café downstairs, and when we came back the girl had left me a message on the door saying she had brought...

The Beach Hut offers inexpensive lodging in rooms on the 2nd floor up a steep staircase. Our room with 2 twin beds had barely enough space to turn around, but it was clean, and a perfect location for us. Breakfast is available downstairs, with bacon and sausage and eggs and toast all available to order. Greasy rather than gourmet, but...
