Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited the cafe with our 2 dogs. Every customer walking through the door is fully acknowledged and fresh water on hand for dogs.
The breakfast was wonderful.
We really wished we had found this gem to stay at overnight instead of the noisy travel lodge.
It’s the perfect stop over for the coastal
Walk and the ferry port.
If the atmosphere and upbeat tempo in the morning is anything to go by, the evenings are sure to be be worth the visit.
Well done guys your place is a role model for anyone in this business.

Booked a Christmas evening at the Beach Hut with a group of girlfriends. Howard & Jay looked after us during our visit. The food was delicious as always. Even though we all chose something different from the Christmas menu they still managed to have us all eating at the same time. The Beach Hut is very cosy with music of your choice in the background. Keep up the good work lads.

Great little find in Hollyhead. We booked a couple of rooms overnight to catch the morning ferry to Ireland.
The rooms are small but fit double beds and were clean and fresh.
The owners are making every effort to ensure the stays were welcoming.
The lounge was great addition.
We grabbed a takeaway and we’re able to use the cutlery and crockery provided. The free tea/coffee and chilled milk were a great thought.
No breakfast available however there is a McD 2mins from ferry terminal.
Definitely book again as a stop for the ferry.

A great place to stay. Perfect hosts, excellent food, all the tea I could drink…and I had the biggest bed. The best location for my solo walking trips/sightseeing, with the added bonus of Jay checking I’m still alive. I highly recommend a stay if you’re on your own or with others, and it’s dog friendly.

We had stayed there 7 years ago, and loved it. Communication with Howard was smooth, unfortunately our ferry has been delayed 45min but it has not caused any issue as we had received instructions for the self check in. Our room was absolutely lovely, very modern, all decorated with "the hut" theme, large bathroom as well, all very clean, loads of Ynys môn/Anglesey tourist information. A lovely place where to stay a few days, unfortunately we barely slept 4 hours to jump on a train to Llandudno, we need to come back, and it is likely we will as my partner is from Holeyhead :)

Booked for one night as early ferry the next day. Friendly welcome, clean, cosy room, nothing was too much trouble, even offered dog towels for our canine companions as the weather was appalling. We left too early to sample the breakfast. Definitely stay here again when we travel this way and hopefully sample the cuisine.

It's satisfactory if you are traveling alone, but do not share these rooms. They are cramped and the beds are small and very uncomfortable. It's impossible for two people to move around without injuring each other. Also, there is no one on site so if something goes wrong, you are screwed.

Very friendly and keen to please. The food was very generous and very tasty, even the black pudding seemed to have extra flavour.
We booked as its a busy diner. If you want a tasty and filling English Breakfast look no further! Felt like you were part of the family, lovely atmosphere!

Lovely gem of a place, tucked away by the port in Holyhead. Really cute decor, clean and comfortable. The owners have put in lots of detail to make it really special. The remote booking in was brilliant as we got there late. Perfect for early morning ferry crossings

We had a warm welcome from Jay at his team during storm Arwen. Called in for coffee and enjoyed the place so much booked in for breakfast too.
Food was wonderful and son chose a breakfast burrito which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Added bonus of company of 2 for babies which we loved . Nothing was too much trouble.. A little gem of a place
