We recently spent a couple of nights at Oakfield House, and it was absolutely amazing! I don't eat meat, but Jeanette was extremely accommodating and offered me a range of options to choose from for breakfast (all the breakfast food was delicious!!!). The hosts are so nice and helpful, the rooms are really clean and quiet (we didn't hear any noise outside of our room even though the B&B was full) and the surrounding area is just gorgeous! Oakfield House is only a short walk away from the shops, but not so close that you're right in the middle of the busiest part. Already cannot wait to go back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay :)

Stayed at Oakfield house for one night on the way to ZipWorld. We found the B&B one of the most well kept, very clean and well organised establishment we have came across.

Everything from the check in process, decoration, linen and well stocked tea tray was perfect. COVID precautions were well thought through and appeared more than adequate, but not intrusive.
After a smooth check we took a short walk into the town, about 15 mins, not a problem after all the walking we did that day……..
We stayed in room 3, at the front of the house overlooking the river, although close to to the road, noise was not a problem.

After a comfortable night, breakfast did not disappoint and we had an opportunity to chat with our hosts, very informative and helpful.

We would certainly recommend Oakfield for truly **** accommodation experience.

Stayed for two nights in a triple room containing three single beds. The set up was excellent as it was actually two rooms linked by a very short corridor, while still being self contained and with an en-suite. This gave us plenty of room for all our gear.
The rooms and en-suite were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfy.
Breakfast was varried with cerials, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cooked options.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They even dried some of our wet gear for us in their airing cupboard and drier.
Thank you for a great stay!

This B&B is outstanding. We had the warmest of welcomes and nothing was too much trouble. The whole property, inside and out, is kept to the highest of standards and is spotlessly clean. It has a nice large car park too. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, they have also just been done out. Smart tellys in your room is handy as you can catch up on Netflix etc when you relax on the comfy bed after your long day of exploring. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Full cooked breakfast, toast, cereal, fruit tea and coffee. Scrambled egg and smoked salmon is also on the menu. Oakfield House is about 10 min walk from the village of Betws Y Coed but it is on the flat. A lovely view of the river from our room was welcome. You could walk along the river to the village along a lovely path allowing you to stop and dip your toes in on a lovely day. Betws Y Coed village has lovely shops, pubs and restaurants but beware, if you go on a Sunday out of season most places stop serving food at 6 so be prepared 😀 The Spar shop has a lovely cake counter with plenty of nice things to eat if you do get caught out.

Jeanette and Steve run the oldest B&B in Betws y coed. It’s a stand alone house in beautiful surrounds with ample off road parking with 6rooms available all en suite with Wi-Fi TV Tea and Coffee.
Steve’s the chef and serves up a lovely full English breakfast which can be enjoyed in their luxurious breakfast room which is adorned with art and pics of the locality.
Though NeitherSteve or Jeanette are locals they are both very knowledgeable of their surroundings.

Jeanette and Steve have thought of every luxury here! The rooms were spotlessly clean upon entry, the beds were so so comfy (and the aromatic smell of the pillowcases was amazing). The breakfast was absolutely lovely, every morning, without fail. Jeanette and Steve were amazingly friendly and catered to our every need (with as many towels and drinks, especially bottles of water, that we could dream of)! They helped us so much with directions, the booking of restaurants and excursions and could not be more grateful to them for making our stay worthwhile! The rooms were great - there was a lovely, spacious room right off of ours where our son slept! The bathroom was very clean and the location could not be better. Not in the center of the village but not too outside of it either. Only a 10 minute walk into the town center and the views from the rooms were lush. Could not be more grateful to Jeanette and Steve for making our stay unforgettable - will definitely be returning soon!

Jeanette and Steve run the most wonderful guest house, their communication before the stay is friendly and easy to follow. On arrival because of Covid it is self check in but the process is so simple that it felt about like arriving home after a holiday - retrieving keys from key safe and dropping bags in my room. The whole house is spotlessly clean and smells fresh too. There are lovely little details like the chocolate mints left in the room.
Beds are comfy and the room was cosy, lots of tea bags milk and sugar plus biscuits too.
Breakfast is a lovely choice from full Welsh, vegetarian, plus other tempting choices.
Both Steve and Jeanette are really friendly without being overbearing and very knowledgeable about the area - they were even understanding when I lost my keys and had to beg the spare set!
There’s also lots of off street parking.

Had a great stay at Oakfield guesthouse. Jeanette and Steve were very friendly and accommodating, providing advice on local things to see and do. The full English breakfast was delicious, and provided veggie sausages for me being a vegetarian. Great selection of fruit, cereal and yogurts. The room was extremely clean, very comfortable bed and great shower. Covid precautions were put into place very well and it still felt like a holiday.

Jeanette and Steve were absolutely incredible.

They are such lovely people, they went over and above for every guest there. They really go out of their way for you. The B&B itself was gorgeous - spacious, clean, warm! Our room view over the field was gorgeous. Those worried about coronavirus needn’t worry - sanitiser everywhere, spaced tables at breakfast with table service. They’re smashing it. Me and my boyfriend would absolutely stay here again, without a doubt. Lovely area, lovely place, lovely people.

Thank you so much Jeanette and Steve!
