Had a great stay at Oakfield guesthouse. Jeanette and Steve were very friendly and accommodating, providing advice on local things to see and do. The full English breakfast was delicious, and provided veggie sausages for me being a vegetarian. Great selection of fruit, cereal and yogurts. The room was extremely clean, very comfortable bed and great shower. Covid precautions were put into place very well and it still felt like a holiday.

We recently spent a couple of nights at Oakfield House, and it was absolutely amazing! I don't eat meat, but Jeanette was extremely accommodating and offered me a range of options to choose from for breakfast (all the breakfast food was delicious!!!). The hosts are so nice and helpful, the rooms are really clean and quiet (we didn't hear any noise outside of our room even though the B&B was full) and the surrounding area is just gorgeous! Oakfield House is only a short walk away from the shops, but not so close that you're right in the middle of the busiest part. Already cannot wait to go back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay :)

Steve and Jeanette are the most friendliest hosts. From the moment we set foot on the premises they made us feel welcomed. Our room was very cosy, and comfortable, spotlessly clean. They were both very accomadating. Tea coffee, water biscuits all in our room, always topped up when needed. A great selection of fruit, yogurt cereals and cooked breakfast.. The best of local produce.. great breakfast cooked perfectly by Steve. We loved our stay, and we will be back.
