Excellent friendly and well ran bnb. Immediately felt welcome and at home. Gorgeous room with excellent facilities . Beautiful surrounding, spent an afternoon walking the falls then day after went to the local zip wire activity. Great Indian in the village! Breakfast was yummy, best poached eggs I've had, and was quickly served. Good selection. Would go again x

I quite often stay in B&Bs across Britain when I go on short hiking trips and I can honestly say The Oakfield is as good as anywhere I've experienced to date. Lovely modern rooms with every facility you could ask for, including a great shower, fast easily accessible wi-fi and a very comfortable bed, all at a very reasonable rate....

My husband and I travel as much as possible and choose B&B's to stay overnight. Oakfield House is by far the BEST bed and breakfast we have stayed with. A very warm welcome from the owners who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Clean, quite, well-maintained establishment with nice sized rooms and...

A warm welcome on arrival and a cup of coffee for starters. The room was immaculate, as was the bathroom. Good quality fixtures and fittings. All very comfortable, in a beautiful setting. After a great night's sleep, the breakfast was first class. I would recommend to my family, friends and to whoever reads this. You won't be disappointed.

The shower was amazing and well needed after a day of walking. Breakfast was lovely with all local sourced food. We...

Shower was great, place was just a few minutes walk from town & the breakfast was lovely. Could not have really asked for more from a...

The room was spotless spotless, fresh smelling and there was plenty of tea/coffee and hot chocolate in the room! The bed as well was so comfy and the shower great! To top it off, lovely...

We were the only people staying at Oakfield house for our two night stay but Jen and Ed could not have been more friendly, warm and welcoming to us. The house itself is stunning, easy to find, good parking facilities and a short easy walk into the main village. Our room was spotless, everything worked perfectly and the room was...
