Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Once again the accommodation and breakfast was top notch. The staff are always friendly and very helpful and would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a dog friendly place to stay in the area.

It's well located for visiting the north-west and north Wales. The food was excellent. The bedroom was clean but cold, with flickering ceiling lights, bulb out on a bedside lamp, bit fell off shower when tried to use it, broken window blind, toilet seat too small for toilet bowl ... a general air of having been recently renovated, but on a strict budget. Most members of staff were very helpful and professional, except for one who rudely chased me down a corridor accusing me of not paying for dinner.

We have stayed on previous occasions at The Lemon Tree. This is a lovely old building but with a modern well maintained interior/restaurant area. Our bedroom was a good size and nice and clean. The restaurant food.is excellent.

Ideally situated if staying in Wrexham to attend a football match within an easy walk to both the ground and the town centre. Car park was a little small & tight to get into but there was plentiful parking in the age concern grounds next door. The mattress and pillows were a little hard for my liking but this didn’t stop me having a good nights sleep. The doors of the rooms did seem to slam loudly so feel they would benefit from soft-close hinges. The restaurant was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed an impressive 3 course meal in the evening and breakfast the following morning. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and suitably attentive. We would not hesitate to visit again for another stay

Room 10 has some kind of boiler / heat exchange behind a door in the bathroom which was running all night. Room was excessively HOT with seemingly no regulation. My colleague stayed in Room 9 which was also way too hot with no regulation. Breakfast was very good.

Food was excellent and service was amazing. Would highly recommend and definitely use again. Unfortunately our room was very outdated. Very good price. Think a 200 word review is too much to ask people to write. Everywhere was very clean....

The room was comfortable and quiet, although it was very hot in the room. A fan was provided that made it a bit more comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely amazing, best Sunday dinner we have ever had and breakfast was equally delicious. The staff where all very friendly and attentive.

This was our second visit to the Lemon Tree hotel. We were delighted to have the same room located in the original building with the tall ceilings and fancy windows. We arrived just before noon (couples package) the room was spotless and fresh. We had cocktails and ate in the restaurant, on the ground floor. Had a great night sleep, a splendid breakfast. I had the full English/Welsh but there is plenty of choice. We will definitely be back in 2024 😁
