The lemon Tree is adorable , beautiful style, very well maintained and restored well. The room we were in no 3 , I chose , was very tastefully decorated , high quality furnishings and bedding , excellent complimentary tray , including water , always a plus. The room was small but adequate , with the added touch of a window seat . This next comment would not stop me re booking , but due to the position of the room , uncontrollable , and the beautiful old windows that should not be changed, the road noise was very noticeable and slightly effected my sleep. The staff were very polite and nice , and the breakfast rooms and restaurant were very nice, alongside an excellent breakfast . My only downside was that the bar is closed if the restaurant isn’t open that evening, and for anyone who wishes to just stay in the hotel and maybe sit in a comfy settee with a drink on an evening , this is not an option . I felt this could be achieved by having a small area near the entrance where the leaflet table is a nice chair and small settee with a lamp and maybe a small help yourself bar which can be paid for ! Otherwise , definitely recommend, would stay again, if road noise bothers you , ask for a room further into the hotel . A great base for exploring Wales Claire

Hotel's Favourite
Sam and the team at the Lemon Tree put on a special occasion meal for 15 of us. We were delighted with what they did for us. The food was delicious, the service was great, they looked after us wonderfully and nothing was too much trouble. Can’t recommend this place enough.

When life gives you lemons, just relax and enjoy! The lemon tree is a delightful little gem of a hotel in a great central location to the town centre of Wrexham. This was my third stay in Wrexham, having chose other accommodation in the previous two occasions i can say that i have found my number one choice for all future visits. Welcoming Friendly staff, Great standard of room for cleanliness, size and features, comfortable double bed etc, usual tea /coffee refreshments provided but an added touch was a little fridge and microwave included too! Really Glad i went with this Hotel this time round, i can be honest and say i paid a little more than the other two town centre options, but i do mean a little, honestly so little that i realise paying the difference to go a little cheaper elsewhere is downgrading you stay in Wrexham! When life gives you the Lemon Tree…. Choose it! 👍😁🍋

We stayed here for a three night music event in Wrexham. At the time it was the only hotel near the town centre available for the booking but was good value nevertheless. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. Parking available but car park is small and most of the spaces wouldn't be accessible for a bigger car. Check-in was easy and the staff member was friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Our room was small and the bed was a double rather than king size but mattress was comfortable. Decor and furnishings were a bit depressingly mediocre and bland. Shower was fine really, but water temperature varied a bit during the shower for an element of excitement and jeopardy. Hotel is on a busy corner but we weren't disturbed by traffic noise. Only mild irritation was a cleaner rather determined to come and clean the room on the first morning rather than accept that we really didn't want the room servicing. We would stay again but would try to book earlier and see if there was a hotel or Airbnb option within a similar distance to the centre that was a bit more interesting.

We had a very lovely two-night stay at the Lemon Tree with our greyhound for the Focus Wales festival. It's a gorgeous building in a great spot, just a 5-min walk to the town centre. The room was well-appointed with a fridge, microwave and tea-making facilities, and a very comfy bed. The weather was unseasonably warm for October and we were kindly provided with a fan to keep cool. Delicious breakfasts (with an extra sausage for the dog!) and we also ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night which was a real treat. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, it can be tricky to find nice dog-friendly places to stay and we're so pleased to add the Lemon Tree to our list!
