We stayed 2 nights at the Townhouse. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the hosts were attentive but not intrusive. The property is in a central location in Brecon. The breakfasts were amazing ! No on site parking available but there is reasonably priced parking close to the property. I cannot recommend this venue too highly.

Thank you for your great review. No, we do not have our own car parking but not many premises do when located only a short walk away from the town centre. Parking is at a premium. We are, however, very fortunate to have four car parks only a few moments walk away which cost £4 for all day and free overnight. We hope we can welcome you back again when next visiting Brecon. We look forward to welcoming you. Please don't forget to book direct for the cheapest rate available. Thank you. Paula & Glenn

The property is in a wonderful condition with a strong design flavour which has been extremely tastefully done. Paula and Glenn are obviously very proud of their business, and it shows. Paula creates some wonderful artwork which is displayed throughout the property and available for sale. "Thanks for the table Paula. It looks right at home in our house." Breakfast was excellent and meeting other guests and having a chat over coffee is a lovely way to start the day. I cannot recommend The Town House highly enough and will be returning to Brecon at some point if only to stay again. Thanks to you Paula and Glen for taking a last minute booking and looking after us.

I stayed in The Townhouse as a solo traveller for 3 nights. Great location, beautiful, comfortable bedroom, delicious breakfast. Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Although the B&B does not have its own parking I was able to park in the car park next door.

This hotel is beautifully finished. We stayed in the Castle Keep and the room was beautiful and bed soooo comfortable! This room does not have a shower just a shower head over the bath incase you’re wondering. The room did not have a fridge but milk was ready available to collect in bottles from the fridge downstairs. The lounge was lovely with a fully honesty bar, books and games available. The breakfast is amazing with lots of choice for main and accompanied with lots of continental choices, it really does set you up for the day. Paula and Glenn are a lovely couple who balance conversation and space very well. It really was a truly wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone and have done so already for those looking in the area. Note: if you are thinking of booking please call them direct instead of going through booking.com as they have to pay a 15% fee for that, something we didn’t realise but this current day with prices going up etc, let’s help businesses out where we can! Thanks again Paula & Glenn, we will definitely return.

Thank you for such a fabulous review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our little boutique B&B. Thank you for making the point about booking, com and any online travel agents. It would benefit ourselves and our guests also if everyone booked direct and we could then keep our prices lower as currently booking, com and expedia are both priced higher than if you booked direct with ourselves. We do hope that we can welcome you back again soon !

We stayed here on a Friday & Saturday night during our walking trip to the Brecon Beacons. The room was very comfy and the Welsh breakfast kept us powered all day when walking up Pen Y Fan. Would highly recommend !!

Hayley and I travelled to Wales from West Sussex to look for a future retirement home and chose to stay at the town House amidst the beautiful scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park and what a great choice that was. Glenn and Paula were incredibly welcoming and to coin a well used phrase, we Felt at home, but in this case it truly fits the bill. Our cases were seamlessly swept to our wonderful room by Glenn, whilst Paula introduced us to our surroundings and the protocol. The room commanded fine views of Brecon and its castle, whilst comfortable, spotlessly clean and warm, everything was as we would hope, including the elegant and sumptuous roll top bath. The Lounge is warm and welcoming and we felt relaxed and making use of the well stocked Honesty bar, we chilled out to a well earned G&T whilst Paula helped us her local expertise and knowledge. Breakfast was an absolute delight, with bountiful options, including locally sourced produce that truly set us up for a busy day adventuring, presented and served in an efficient, timely and friendly manner, with time for conversation in an unhurried manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Town House and would not hesitate to return, indeed, we heartily recommend it for all who enjoy high quality, friendly, independent accomodation that meets all of these guests requirements. Well done and best wishes to Glenn and Paula.

Lovely place, rooms are plenty big enough and nice warm showers for after a wet days walking. Breakfast was brilliant and fueled you up well for plenty of walking and exploring. Glenn and Paula are very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Many thanks and would definitely look to come back.

We stayed in the rather beautiful boutique styled Castle Keep room located on the top floor. It was a two night stay that we have every intention to repeat. The room itself was an absolute highlight, whimsically decorated and intriguingly styled to create an ambience and setting within which you can truly relax. I personally delighted in having a bathtub located within the main room and yes, it is something that allows for a whole new level of relaxation. I would likely still be in it if I had it my way! The bed mattress and feather duvet/pillows were extremely comfortable and clean, as was everything in the room in truth. I am admittedly very fussy over cleanliness and I was thoroughly impressed at the standards here throughout the whole building, not just our own room. The food served with breakfast was delicious and much of it was locally sourced. I actually looked forward to breakfast each morning as not only was the food phenomenal, the lounge and eating area were decorated in such an unusually wonderful way that we loved the environment just as much as the food. Paula was an excellent host and made us feel tremendously welcome, she was always available if we required anything and endlessly helpful to us. The pride, effort, thought, time and love Paula and Glenn have and still do invest in this establishment is intrinsically reflected in its outstanding qualities. Thank you and we hope to see you again very soon.

We have just returned from a two night stay at The Town House Boutique B&B Brecon, in the Priory View bedroom, which exceeded our expectations. The room was extravagantly and tastefully decorated with a lovely ensuite and all the necessary facilities. Host Paula, could not have been more accommodating with a humouros and very pleasant manner. Breakfast was of good quality and to a high standard. The B&B looks out onto to the ruins of Brecon castle and parking is literally yards away in a nearby council car park. We would highly recommend this B&B and would love to return soon. Thank you Paula for making our stay a very pleasant one.

Superb stay. An impressive eye for interior decor (everywhere you looked was interesting yet comfortable) and attention to detail eg dressing gowns in room, well equipped honesty bar, milk in thermos bottles in the room rather than the horrid sachets, breakfast pots of granola, yoghurt and fruit already hand made up. Very impressive. We will be back
