We stayed in The Farmhouse and the Granary over the wettest week in October! No matter - the location is stunning and the accommodation very comfortable and warm. Rob and Neil are friendly hosts and knowledgeable about the area. A generous welcome pack was a nice surprise and everything in the property was good quality - We self catered every night in the Farmhouse and everything we needed was there. That is rare! Rob and Neil even put in a bigger dining table so we could all sit together for meals. There were 5 of us - an extended family. The Farmhouse easily big enough for all of us so we only used the Granary to sleep in! The accommodation is first class and there is lots of space. There are glorious views of the hills, and everything is well done. Definitely a five star stay. Great walks nearby - the Waterfall walk spectacular on the wettest day on record! We need to return to see the views from Pen y Fan! Genuine peace and quiet. And a great place to see the stars. Nespresso machine a bonus in both properties (but take your own Aeroccino if you want a latte/cappuccino.) The properties have their own privacy but are ideal if you want a base for an extended family (Covid rules permitting), where you can be together or have your own space. We will be back! Hopefully in better weather!

Thank you for your very kind review. It was lovely to meet you all and it's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay here with us. You were our first guests to book both cottages together so it's lovely to hear that it worked well having the larger dining table for you. We hope you will return to the Brecon Beacons again in the future and we would love to welcome you back to Hilltops when you do. Best Wishes,

We have just spent 4 lovely nights at the Farmhouse. It is a beautiful old building with great facilities and everything you need to make for a homely stay. The views of the mountains are amazing and the little touches Rob and Neil have incorporated into the property make for a superb stay. Thanks Rob for the tip about the waterfall walk. The property is well off the road, so a real retreat the only noise and sights were the spectacular nature around us. We were even visited every night by a mother hare tending to her babies in front of the kitchen window. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone wishing to get away from it all, or an activity holiday in the Brecon Beacons.

We have had a very pleasant stay here, it is about a two mile walk down hill into the town. It is very picturesque, the building are old but the facilities are all up to date, it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. It a great base to explore the Brecon National park.

Hilltops Brecon is a great place to stay if you want to explore the Brecon Beacons. Pen y Fan, Fan y Big and the other peaks make a fantastic backdrop to what is a lovely place to stay. Neil and Rob have made sure the Farmhouse is kitted out perfectly and the beds are super comfy- an important consideration! It is definitely a place to return to, thanks guys.

Hi Chris, It was great to meet you and Jen the other day. We are glad you had a great time and enjoyed the surrounding area. We hope that you will return and be ready to take on the mountain bike ride I plotted out for you - it is a really good challenging ride. If I am free, I would happily show you the way round and join in :-) Enjoy the rest of the summer. Rob and I look forward to welcoming you both back. Thanks Neil
