Ideal position. Lovely views and excellent hosts. Split times for breakfast to minimise contact with other guests due to covid. Breakfast was excellent whether you wanted cooked or not. Excellent choice of fruit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We found the standard of accommodation to be very good

The Lodge is a truly amazing place to stay! My room was spotless, the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful in planning walks etc. Breakfast was delicious, especially the vegetarian sausages (Bronwen's own recipe). The gardens are beautifully tended and guests are welcome to use them - the views of the mountains are stunning. It's in a very quiet location but not far from the town of Brecon. I would highly recommend staying here and really hope to return one day. Thank you Steve and Bronwen.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Lodge. The B&B is in a fabulous countryside location that is just a few minutes from the A40 making it easy to explore the area. Steve & Bronwyn are fabulous hosts making us feel very welcome, they were on hand if needed and offered great advice on touring the local area. Their breakfasts were delicious and we felt very safe with the COVID precautions they had in place. Would highly recommend the Lodge and we will definitely return.

We could not have chosen a better base from which to explore this beautiful area. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome by our friendly hosts who could not have done more to ensure our comfort. Our room was airy & spacious with everything provided to a very high standard. The whole property is immaculately kept and the view across fields of sheep up towards the Brecon Beacons is so peaceful and calming. The delicious breakfasts, cooked to perfection by Bronwen and served with panache by Steve, set us up perfectly for the day ahead. In our wide travel experience, one way to gauge the quality of b&b accommodation is a tasty range of fresh fruit at breakfast along with the very best of ingredients to follow as well as fresh milk for tea & coffee in the room. Recently, we have lost our hearts to Wales and wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Lodge should further visits become possible.
