Camp Cynrig Glamping Village is the ideal place to escape the stresses of everyday life and enjoy a unique and very cool glamping experience in the beauty of Mid Wales. Situated in a gorgeous location in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons our sioux tipis, Bell Tent and camping cabin are set in a gently sloping field bordered by the River Cynrig. All units have their own outdoor bbq/campfire, seating and hammock area - lovely for spending the long summer evenings eating alfresco under the stars in a Dark Sky Reserve. All units are all kitted out with fire pits or log burner, cooking equipment, gas camping stoves, cool box. The hassle of normal camping is taken away - just bring bedding, food and a sense of adventure and you are good to go!! Our tipis are open from April - September. Our camping cabin is open year round and the cosy log burner makes it ideal for a winter getaway!! The cabin has its own private bucket shower and compost toilet.

This is our 5th year going to Camp Cynrig and, despite the weather not being the kindest to us, we had an amazing time yet again! No matter where else we go on our travels this is always the highlight of our year. As always the children loved roaming free and swimming in the river that winds itself around the camp. We enjoyed cooking around the fire pit as well as games night in the communal kitchen. As ever Rob and Sara are attentive hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble. See you again next year! ❤️

This is our 3rd visit, words can't express how much I love Camp Cynrig it's absolutely incredible. A Hidden gem so tranquil and peaceful with the stream running along side the camp. We always stay in the Eco Cabin it has everything you need and if you need something Rob & Sara will try their very best to help. You won't be disappointed it's tucked away 10 mins from Brecon. It's family friendly, enclosed space so your not worrying about where the kids are. The cabin sports a queen size bed and bunk beds either side so plenty of room even for an large family. Gas hob, pizza oven, sink, and everything you need to cook food. Even a BBQ area where you can light your own fire and cook over the flames. A hammock to relax and nice bucket shower at the back of the cabin is such an amazing experience. Up the top of the camp is a breakfast area where you can sit to eat. Separate toilets for each group that stays and warm showers 10 min drive to Brecon where shops and restaurants and Boat Rides for entertainment It really is a second home for me and my family we love it here. Prices are incredible even in the holidays. Genuinely 100% recommend Camp Cynrig

A beautiful, quiet campsite in the heart of the country side between Brecon and the mountains which we were able to access on foot or short drives to amenities and activities. The accommodation in our large bell tent was very comfy and the shepherds hut for catering or wet weather chilling was brilliant. We had such fun! Nothing was too much trouble for Rob to make our stay as easy as possible. Showers and washing up facilities were great and cooking on the camp fire made the camping experience complete. This was our second visit and would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

I found Camp Cynrig as a last minute availability for glamping in Wales. It was our first time in Wales and could not have been a better experience at Camp Cynrig. They were available and speedy to contact over both email and phone during the booking process and even checked in on us prior to arrival. Our stay was the most lovely. We slept in the Bell Tent which was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and kept us warm through wind and rain. The whole glamping village was perfect. The kitchenette was stocked with the basic items needed to cook. The open grass area was perfect for morning yoga, running around, or just enjoying the stars. Clean toilets and showers with wonderful hot water. Wood around to make a fire at any point. And to top it off, the beautiful river and woodland walks just steps away from the site. Came with my partner and friend but would be perfect for families, a couple's getaway, or hiking trip with friends. Cannot recommend enough!!! You can feel how cared for the space is and how much love went into creating it. I would absolutely go back and book again. Also only a 3 mile walk (or 10 min drive) to Pen Y Fan which we also recommend :)

Incredibly welcoming and friendly host to such a lovely little sanctuary in Brecon. Stayed in the small bell tent, and was very happy with this, the fire pit area, the kitchenette and the toilets - and all of the gorgeous little handmade accents each of them had to offer. There is a river a stones throw away, and we went for a refreshing dip in it after a long walk up Pen-Y-Fan (breathtaking and only an hour walk away to a great trail up it) Highly recommend !

Just perfect! Our family of 5 had an excellent family camping for 2 nights in the Large Bell Tent (had the place to ourselves on a weekday!). How do I love thee? Let me count the ways :) - Well equipped private kitchen near your tent - Private bbq/campfire area - Private toilet and bathroom cubicles and sink in a common area. - Solar powered campsite! - Immaculately clean facilities - Accesible River Cynrig nearby - Parking available - Love the small things that make the experience complete - wheelbarrows to bring your things, Shepherds Hut Kitchenette, themed decor Thanks Rob and Sara, we will be back!

This place is a real gem! whether a couple of mates staying in the smallest tent (it’s plenty big enough) or a whole family in a larger tent - you can’t fail to love this place. Hidden away but close enough to civilsation you can lose yourself here, it’s close to some really lovely walking and as it’s on the river it has a dipping pool. Immaculately organised and well maintained…. you both have some privacy but also lovely communal options. Cook in your own “caravan” or in the communal area or your own BBQ - all well equipped. It is spacious too. Rob & Sara are lovely & attentive hosts. It is also very eco-friendly which really appealed. Couldn’t recommend more. Didn’t want to leave!

We had an amazing weekend on this fantastic campsite. It is in a lovely location - in the countryside and next to the river - and is very well equipped. Impeccably clean facilities (each of the two tents and one cabin has its own toilet, shower and washing up sink within the communal area) but we had the place to ourselves for the whole weekend! We drove to Brecon for supermarkets then cooked in the communal kitchen (gas hobs). Plenty of room on the grass to play games before a bracing dip in the river! Rob and Sara were brilliant and took care of everything - they were friendly, very responsive and always taking care of the site. Would fully recommend this for friends, a couple or family - or you could take over the whole place for a family occasion. A real hidden gem!

Everything was lovely. Check in well organised. Bell tent spacious, shepherds hut equipped with all your basic needs. Toilet/shower block very clean and don't need to share !! Lit the wood burner in eve as chilly at night. Great walks along the river. Fresh eggs were still warm !! Very pretty area. 3 amazing clear nights where we used the telescope. Saw the milky way for the first time and Jupiter's stripes along with 4 of its moons. Will be going back, and I am not known for my love of camping! Thank you Rob
