Great service and great cooking in the breakfast restaurant at this Premier Bridgend Central. We have been travelling U.K. visiting family and have been in several Premiers around England and Wales. By far and away the best service, presentation and full breakfast we have had. Well done guys.

This was purely on the room, bathroom had a stale urine smell, think from a previous leaking toilet that has been fixed, but flooring is the same. Also were in a room with an adjoining door to the next room, so could hear them talking and laughing. Breakfast wasn't unlimited really as limited to 45 mins, and table service, so as the staff were v busy, we felt we didn't want to impose further on them by asking for more items. Having said all of that, the staff here are amazing, so friendly and efficient, hard workers, doing a great job, felt very covid secure. Room was very very clean, just that urine smell was a let down.

We stayed for one night over the bank holiday so the room itself was just somewhere to lay our heads as we were visiting family near by. Room was clean and served it’s purpose. The main reason for the five star review is the staff. We didn’t check in until almost 11pm on the Saturday night so most breakfast slots were full and we couldn’t get a seating until 10.15 Sunday. By this time, the staff were obviously shattered after a busy sitting and it seemed they were also understaffed considering it was a bank holiday. Our server, Helena, couldn’t do enough for us as a family despite this. Looking around the restaurant she was like this for everyone. All our needs were catered for and we were served a lovely hot breakfast and my daughter her favourite - pancakes and fresh fruit in a timely manner. People are too quick to give negative reviews and not praise the positive these days. 21 degree heat in a protective face covering running around after hungry diners tending to their every whim, that’s no easy task. Thank you to Helena and colleague. We really appreciated it!
