Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Found this hotel is at a good location for accessibility to train services and is also just off Junction 36 of the M4. Also close to eateries, shops & cinema.
The bathroom in our room could do with some TLC, needed a plug in the sink, just needed some attention. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

On a long cave rescue in South Wales, realising that I was too tired to drive back to the Midlands, I Googled B&B and it suggested Days Inn at Bridgend. The receptionist took the minimum details required to book me in over the phone. Everyone was very helpful, so that I could find food and replacement overnight items, get a great night's sleep and be ready for my next rescue shift. Thanks all!

We arrived for a 2 night stay on Friday 29th July, with my disabled wife, our daughter and her 2 sons.

There are just 2 disabled parking bays, one taken up with builders skip.
Check in was smooth and welcoming.
Rooms were basic, but clean and smelt fresh.
Shower (important to me) was roomy and had good pressure.
Bed, a little hard, but comfy enough.

Our stay in this Days Inn (our first with this chain) was going well.

Checkout however failed miserably! We went to breakfast, off site as there is no restaurant, just across the road at the Harvester at 09:30. Due to staffing they were running behind so we did not get back to the hotel to check-out until 10:55 (checkout 11:00). Frantically throwing our stuff in the case then at 11:07 there is a loud and forceful 5 knocks on our room door - a reminder of the 11:00 checkout. Do me a favour - 7 mins and you're banging on my door, effectively chasing me out of our room. At 11:15 we were in the car and gone.

Good bye Days Inn, we won't be returning !!##!!

I have stayed a couple of times this month. Rooms are the older style but spotlessly clean and the shower is great. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Location is great with shops at the services a 5 min walk and the factory village, food outlets and a Sainsburys Supermarket 2 minutes drive away. Despite being beside the motorway there is no traffic noise. Plenty of free parking. Looking forward to staying again.

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights. The staff were so lovely and helpful and professional. We felt very safe there considering current times. The room was sealed to confirm it had been disinfected. The room had everything we needed, was basic but very comfortable and spacious. The bed, pillows and shower were amazing too. Would recommend to all!

I stayed at Days Inn Sarn for a night in May 2023. I found my room very clean and had everything that I needed for my overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming when you arrive and the room attendants were very helpful if I requested any extra towels or coffee’s.
Big thumbs up to Days Inn Sarn and the staff working there 👍

We arrived at the hotel and unfortunately found they had changed our room to a double from the family one I had booked as there were only 2 people. I quickly explained I needed family or twin Room for myself and my autistic son so needed the separate beds. Jess the lady on the desk was extremely helpful and got it sorted very quickly for us and was very apologetic. The room was lovely and clean and all the staff we came across were lovely and friendly.
Will definitely back again and have already recommended it to my daughter.whi has booked in.

We used this hotel a year ago for a family get together. It's ideally located just off the M4, but not too close that you get all the traffic noise.
There is plenty of parking, which you don't get at some establishments.
On arrival our greeting was very friendly and professionally dealt with - nothing was to much trouble, as last year :))
Well done Days Inn for lovely Welsh good old fashioned Customer Service.
We will definitely be back, especially if you book in advance for their great prices.

Room badly needs refurbishment, uncomfortable beds, noise from above room, booked to stay two nights, found new accommodation for second night. Unsympathetic staff. Informed by staff they would investigate and provide feedback....nothing has been received.
