We live in south Cardiff and during restrictions in Wales, wanted a change considering we were working from home all the time too. So we went to North Cardiff and stayed at the Ty Mynydd B&B. It was absolutely lovely - so much character to the building, the room and snug downstairs were all very cosy feeling but of a great size, the bathroom was a great size and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great - good food and lovely service. If you get chance to try some of the homemade jam, go for it - really tasty! Some lovely personal touches from Lisa, made to feel very welcome. Thank you!

Ty Mynedd was a perfect find. An idea location, very comfortable room, a hearty, home cooked breakfast and very welcoming and attentive hosts. Would recommend highly for anyone needing to stay on the outskirts of Cardiff with easy access to the city centre, local attractions and motorway.

We stayed here for one night, its just out of the city centre and you can catch a train in easily. Very handy for the motorway if heading into Wales. Lisa was very welcoming and friendly and gave us all the info we needed. We had an early start the next day and she very obligingly made us an early breakfast as we needed to fuel up! We stayed in the twin room as the lodge was full, it was well kept and had tea/coffee facilities and dressing gowns.

Excellent find ! Lovely B and B , room spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed, beautiful property . Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Covid safety very evident felt quite safe. Lisa, the owner, was very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her . Thank you Lisa we won’t hesitate to visit again
