We have a very enjoyable weekend in Cardiff. We stayed at the Premier Inn, Roath, which was convenient for us. Slightly out of Cardiff City Centre, but convenient for the vibrant suburb of Roath. The hotel was comfortable and clean, the reception staff were warm and friendly and we were made to feel welcome. There was plenty of tea and...

Generally clean and loved that I could open the window (no air conditioning), however, the restaurant is in the sports complex next door - great if you have a family I imagine, but not the most peaceful dining experience. Plenty of free parking though and the car park was pass coded.

Clean quiet travelodge, a little out of the town centre, £9 taxi to get to town. lots of car parking space. Breakfast is at the David Lloyd club next door. It's fine and would have no issue staying here again.

I stayed here as part of a party of 12 for my hen do (it also clashed with the England vs Wales 6 nations rugby). The staff were more than accommodating especially due to a complication with the booking. They ordered us taxis on numerous occasions and made sure we were well looked after!! The rooms were clean and tidy...

For a short stay, this hotel was good. The rooms were clean and staff were very friendly. Local supermarkets, shops and a few restaurants are within walking distance however the location of this hotel is in an industrial area. This didn't cause any problems, it was a quiet area and I did not have any problems with noise in the...

The room and service was what was expected from a Premiere Inn - friendly, helpful staff plus a clean, comfortable room -and I have no complaints. The walk around to the David Lloyd Centre for breakfast and an evening meal was not ideal but did not cause a problem. Whilst the menu was not extensive for an evening meal it...

The building is on an industrial estate. It does not have it's own restaurant for either breakfast or dinner, within the building. For these services you need to go outside and walk about 200yds to David Lloyds fitness centre. Not good when it's raining hard and it's cold and you are tired. We didn't eat dinner, I didn't even get...

It may be that I did not pay enough attention to what I was booking - or where. But why would I? I have stayed in Premier Inn many times and know what to expect. I wished to be in Cardiff and there seems to be several Premier Inns available. I just should have looked more closely. The approach to...

The facilities were very clean, the location although not central cardiff was close to many amenities and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast as we had to get up extra early for a swimming gala but they did bring breakfast forward 1/2 hour on a Sunday morning to accommodate the needs...

My wife and daughter stayed here prior to her attending an interview at Cardiff medical school. They had a room on the lower floor just by reception. They were constantly disturbed in the night by the fire door banging outside and could hear people in reception. They were exhausted by the morning having had the worst night sleep. Just the...
