Found this on Tripadvisor when looking for an overnight stay whilst our daughter was singing in the cathedral. The other option would have been for a Premier Inn or IBIS. This came up for a similar price and after a bit of a difficult arrival (the post code is just of the M4, and you cant get off when you...

We found this hotel on trip advisor for a visit to Cardiff. Our room was lovely with stunning views through shuttered windows. The bathroom added to the feeling of luxury. We also had an excellent breakfast. We will definitely come back.

Stayed for a night away with family, had a friendly welcome and a great view out across Cardiff from our room. The room was nice and clean but starting to look a little tired. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good, open fire in the bar, small library with good coffee and comfy seats. All in all...

We stayed for just one night as we were going to the opera in Cardiff. The hotel is pleasantly out of town and has a very personal feel. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. Our suite was immaculate and the bathroom large and with plenty of shelves. A very comfortable and large bed as well as comfortable armchairs...

Beautiful setting and lovely views. Gorgeous window table and real lit fire all enjoyed over there lovely well priced High Tea. There gluten free option was one of the best I had seen better than the Celtic manor. Staff were so friendly and didn't mind however many times we ordered more tea. To top all this the Tea was so...

Some of the hotel looks run down such a carpets etc but the service is friendly and welcoming. Wedding prices are extortionate and you may have to share the hotel with another wedding party on the same day as they don't offer exclusive hire. Don't be fooled into paying the extortionate price for the rolling hills in the back ground...
