Detailed Reviews
I stayed here with my partner mid week at the end of June and we were shown around by a very friendly chap. We were able to pick our own camping spot and chose the top left hand side which had amazing views over the sea. There’s fresh running tap water 15 seconds away, there’s a hot pot washing area 20 seconds away and there’s very clean showers/toilet blocks in 2 x separate locations less than 60 seconds away. You are a 10 minute walk away from the beachfront and all the pubs, shops and it’s just fantastic. We liked the location and the cleanliness of the place so much we are going back this Friday until Monday camping. Best location in Port Eynon for camping it is a hidden gem! (Hannah and Jamie)

Just back from this beautiful dog friendly campsite with outstanding views over Port Eynon & Horton Beach. We had a large pitch near the top of the site, with a fantastic view over the bay…it was a 10 minute easy stroll downhill to the beach with its two pubs, shops, ice cream and fish and chips….(its a harder walk back up the hill but so worth it for those views!) We were lucky enough to be there when there was a red super moon so the views over the bay at night were spectacular. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere on site very chilled and relaxed, with a quiet policy after 11pm so no loud music and partying to keep you awake. There are plenty of drinking water taps scattered around, the shower blocks, laundry room and washing up area were very well maintained, clean and well lit and there is also a childrens park and on site shop selling essentials at reasonable prices. So glad we found this place, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back next year.

Lovely campsite, the showers and toilets were cleaned regularly, the views were amazing, it was a short walk down to the beach where we enjoyed fishing for bass from the rocks. Of an evening the campsite was very quite and family friendly. The coastlines and walks were amazing, we spotted seals and dolphins. My only tip would be to stop in swansea before hand to stock up on food as the local shops are very expensive. All round a great site and we will definitely be returning.

We have just spent a week in one of the chalets at new park, Port Eynon. It was a really fabulous stay. The chalet had an incredible view across the bay and we had quiet, peaceful sleep here.
It was perfectly positioned for walking down to the beach and for exploring the rest of the Gower.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, from reception to cleaning to gardening staff. The gardener worked tirelessly to make the place beautiful and when we needed more bedsheets the cleaning lady arrived within minutes.
There was a nice playground for my daughter and a handy shop for the basics.
My only word of warning was that we had very little Wi-Fi all week but did manage to pick it up on our day trips out. This also meant that the tv channels were limited. We didn’t mind as we had all we needed but don’t expect to be able to work from your chalet!
Nothing less than five stars for Newpark! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind review of our Chalet 43 and taking the time to review us. We are so pleased that you all enjoyed your week with us Apologises for the Wi-Fi dropouts which was totally out of our control. However, the TV should still have picked up all the FREE View channels as the TV has nothing to do with the WIFI. We hope to see you again. Once again a Big Thank you.

I don’t know why this place has any bad reviews. As a new caravaner, I was worried about uneven grass pitches and a relatively basic camp site but the extremely friendly and helpful welcome we got sorted that out. The man running the place took us to our pitch and helped get the caravan in the right place as well as giving us some tips and telling us what was on site and nearby. My electric cable didn’t quite reach the socket but not a problem as they had one for me to borrow. On the day we checked out, some doughnut forgot to raise the jockey wheel and so bashed it over several speed bumps before realising. Jockey wheel now stuck in the down position and I was unable to fix it but the man from the site was straight over (in the pouring rain) and had it fixed enough for us to get home. Couldn’t ask for better customer service.
Site facilities were immaculately clean throughout. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly and even those staff were happy and friendly.
Site was very busy but didn’t feel noisy or crowded at all. Good mix of people who all seemed respectful.
Amazing sea view from its raised position and less than a 10 minute walk to the beach which also had a shop, pub, ice cream and fish and chips.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again.

Just returned from our first visit to Newpark holiday park. Right from the start the owners come across very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Ryan ( I think his name was) walked us to our pitch and clearly explained where everything was, which was nice rather than trying to follow site maps.
The site was very clean including the toilet/shower blocks and honestly couldn't fault our stay.
5--10 minute stroll down to the village with a small number of shops/pubs/chip shops right on the beach front.
Phone signal pretty much none existent on site, which we found quite refreshing as it stopped us all playing with the phones and concentrated on family time. Wifi is available onsite from a 3rd party company but unsure how good the coverage would be.
Keep up the good work!!!

Just come back from a weeks holiday , lovely friendly campsite with beautiful views of Port Enyon beach which can be accessed from the campsite, gorgeous costal works and a ideal location base to explore The Gower and all its beauty.
Staff are really friendly, shower facilities and laundry room are maintained every day and are always clean., although the shower blocks are looking a bit tired and could do with an uplift they were still adequate .
We will definitely be back. Thank you for making us so welcomed.

Really lovely campsite and very well kept. the view was amazing and loved the layout of the terraced camping field. Owner and staff were so friendly and very helpful couldn’t do more for us. Showers and toilets were always clean and washing hut station there was always plenty of hot water to do your dirty dishes. Only 7 minute walk to the beach. This is now our favourite Gower camp site and will be definitely coming back

Spent 4 days at this campsite.
1 couple in a motorhome and in a chalet.
All the chalets are detached (no neighbour noise) it had a great view over the sea and surrounding cliffs.
It felt like we were the first in after a reburb.
Full kitchen, all good quality pots, pans and other utensils.
2 good sized bedrooms, 1 double bed and 1 two singles.
Very comfy beds and pillows, and new bed linen.
Iron / ironing board.
Good sized dining / seating area
Good TV with plenty of channels.
Loved the bathroom with walk in shower, powerful and hot.
Plenty of good quality towels.
It was a pleasure to come back to after a days walking and sit on the patio looking out to sea with a wine or 3...
Outside space is kept really neat, with lots of grassed areas.
Nice to watch Rabits and in the evening bats flying around.
Would definately come again...

What an amazing site Newpark holiday park is, extremely helpful staff, always polite and willing to help, the site is spotless, toilets and showers are immaculate. The most amazing views overlooking port eynon beach that is only a short walk away, with plenty of other beautiful walks to do. I travelled without my husband and the seasonal pitch owners were extremely helpful, they offered to help me with levelling the caravan and putting up the awning. Great family site that I would 100% recommended to friends and family to visit.
