#11 of 50 B&Bs / Inns in Swansea
Travellers' Choice
We are located in an 18th century Welsh Cottage in a small village in the Upper Swansea Valley. This is at the South Western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and opposite the less visited Black Mountain Range. ( Not to be confused with the Black Mountains on the other side of the park!) We have stunning views of the mountains from all our rooms and we also have 3 acres of land which is perfect for a relaxing morning stroll with the dog or letting the kids run wild! Dogs are welcome here in all our rooms and are treated as special guests. Please note that all dogs must be fully vaccinated and also be kept on leads when exploring our smallholding if there are sheep located in the neighbouring fields. All rooms have en-suites, TV's and heating. There is also wifi throughout the property. The prices include breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee. We have plenty of on site parking. We also provide extras such as late arrival meals and packed lunches.

The event we were going to was cancelled at the last minute but we decided to make a weekend break of it anyway and we're so glad we did. Julia is the perfect hostess. She has created a charming and friendly bed and breakfast that is warm, comfortable and impeccably clean. Every detail has been considered and nice little touches added, like a bag of treats and water bowl for our dog. The farm looks straight out over the Brecon Beacons so eating breakfast outdoors was a real treat. We visited the National Showcaves Centre and Henrhyd waterfall both close by and ate out a two good pubs recommended by Julia. We would certainly recommend Cwtch Farm to anyone thinking of exploring this area.

My husband and I and our 3 fur babies just returned from a 2 night stay at the beautiful cwtch farm. It was so relaxing and homely and just fab. The cottage is spotless and rooms are cosy and en suite.plenty of refreshments. Nice that the doggies stay in with you too!! Beautiful views. Lots of places to visit and eat out or get delivery. Made friends with Kenny and georgie the collies so our kids had a great time. Met the 5 piggies who are so cute. Julia was a great host and did a lovely breakfast box plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, so if you want a home from home cwtch is the place. Will definitely be back. Lots of love. Stacey andrew Nala, joe, and dotty. X

Firstly the sat nav took us straight to the location with no problems and we had mobile device connectivity. We arrived to be greeted with a smile from the lovely host Julie. The location of this farm has the most amazing views and when we were shown to our rooms, both rooms had views for miles, just stunning. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy and well decorated and furnished. Everything required for our stay was available from towels, to hair dryer, soaps, shower gels, tea and coffee facilities and even chocolate!! The bed was very comfortable and lovely pillows too, a must for a good nights sleep. The en-suite facilities were also spotless and perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. Due to covid-19 regulations etc we had to have a continental breakfast but I can honestly say, it was one of the best room service continental breakfasts I have had and I am well travelled and have stayed in many a five star hotel. The presentation was unique and the contents of our breakfast baskets were plentiful and varied. Before we left, we asked to see the pet pigs who were well looked after and so friendly you could pet them. The two dogs were also lovely and very friendly. We would certainly visit again and would recommend anyone, from children to adults to stay at this lovely accommodation in beautiful Wales.

I initially booked a trip with my two dogs for a 5 night stay to get away from everyone. However a few days in I decided to extent our stay as we had such a fab time. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Julia and her two dogs Kennie and Georgie. Everything was just perfect, perfect location, the room was very clean (and I mean VERY clean). I have not ever stayed at a hotel where I felt this comfortable. Clean towels, nice smell in bathroom, breakfast reach with lots of choices that kept us going all day. I cannot fault Julia on anything and would like to thank her for making our trip special and unforgettable!! I highly recommend staying at Cwtch Farm B&B and will return for sure. Love Kat, Alfie and Lucy xxx
