The hotel is ideally located for a short city break within 5 minutes walk of the shopping centre and on the beachfront The service was good and breakfast was especially good service with chatty staff The rooms were perfectly comfortable with plenty of plug sockets available

This hotel carries a 5* rating which in my opinion is grossly overrated. We checked in very late after our flight was delayed. The room allocated had a king size bed and a "camp" bed installed. This was mainly due to a function within the hotel which commandeered the only

Stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting a friend in hospital. Hotel is well positioned close to the centre of Swansea but with good views out over the bay. We had a deluxe double double guest room with a view out over the Marina on the 4th floor. It was nice and large and had a sofa

Take a catchers mitt to breakfast, you'll need it as I had poached eggs thrown at me, twice. More comical than distressing! Hair in my crab linguini, a classic restaurant faux pas (I don't have black curly hair), along with about a gallon of oil. That said, most of the serving

Dear Hubster22, Thank you for your review. Please accept our apologies with regards to the breakfast experience you encountered during your stay and I am sorry it has left an unfavourable impression with you. I completely appreciate your frustrations, I assure you this is not our usual standard of service and your comments have been taken most seriously, including your comment regarding your post-stay phone call. I have forwarded on your feedback to the relevant department Managers for review and action, so we can put corrective measures in place to avoid a repeat in the future. Thank you once again for bringing the matter to my attention and I hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future.

This place is at the top end of the cost bracket for Swansea hotels and, as some others have said, is looking a bit tired in places. More of that later... However, it is in a great location right next to the beach (if you have a car) otherwise it is a bit of a walk through

Dear anthonyfj, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay. As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience during your travels, we have unfortunately fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. Please let me assure you this is not our usual standard of service and I have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel team. We will also ensure that your opinion on the hotel appearance is looked at and taken into account in future discussions regarding refurbishment and re-design. Again, thank you for your valued feedback and we hope to serve you again whenever your travels bring you back to Swansea. Yours faithfully, Serban Voda

Please could you tell me how long will the scaffold be up.thanks
Hi kimcains2015, hope you are well. I could not tell you how long the scaffolding will be in place. I would advise to contact the hotel DIRECTLY and NOT through there reservations system. Hope that helps, take care and all the best.

Is the breakfast buffet style please
The simple answer is yes. There is an array of fruit juices, the wait persons will bring you coffee or tea - there is a choice of breakfast cereals, breads, some choice of fish, cheeses and meats, and finally some cooked breakfast items while chefs will make eggs to your preference.

Its around £15-16 for breakfast. Expensive yes but equally you can really stuff your face and get your money's worth - treat it like a 4 or 5 course meal!
