Building is quite old but well maintained. Overall what you would expect from a mid range chain hotel. Plenty of car parking and pleasant staff. Dining room very quiet on the Sunday night but reasonable choice of food and served quickly. Open until 21.00 so a shame that at 20.10

The staff at this hotel are without exception friendly, fun and warm from housekeeping, right up through the reception, waiting and restaurant staff. It is one of the reasons we come back every year. Highly recommended.

Dear A Russell, Thank you for your fantastic 5 star review further to your recent stay with us, and the team will be very happy to see that their hard work, and great personalities have shone through in your comments. Can't get better than a five, from a guest who comes back every year, and we look forward to welcoming you back to sunny* Swansea in the not to distant future. * Sunny disposition that is, as cant always guarantee sunshine in West Wales ! This is a low rise hotel that overlooks a lake, and is surrounded by a Retail Park, which has every Outlet that most people could ever need, within a short walk or drive. I stayed over Christmas for a few days on Bed and Breakfast. The breakfasts are not cheap, but are quite

Dear Jon2429, Thank you for your review further to your recent stay. Our pool is a leisure pool, I guess it was designed so families can have a little play around in a safe environment, hence the depth being no more than 6 ft at the deepest point, and the shape being more conducive to splashing around than swimming lengths. I don't agree that anyone over 3ft tall would have a problem swimming in it, you can swim, but I do agree that if you want to swim a good length than 7 meters across our pool is just getting into your stroke before touching the other aside. That apart, it was great to hear that overall you enjoyed the rest of the hotel, and still awarded us 4 out of 5 for your total score. Many thanks for your feedback. Best Regards Ian H Jones

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is our hotel of choice when visiting family and friends. Up until this visit I cannot fault this hotel at all. We always enjoy our visit and eager to book our next visit. However this time I was shocked at the number of dogs who

Dear Cymraes 11, I am sorry to hear that you were left disappointed after your recent stay with us, and please acept my appologies that we did not fully meet your aspirations on this occasion. The hotel is a dog friendly hotel, and has been so for the whole 20 years that I have been manager here. Having said that we do have rules, and I will reiterate these with the team, as some of your observations should not have happened if our rules were properly applied. Firstly we do not allow any pets (bar assistance dogs) into any of the food and beverage areas of the hotel, they are allowed in the foyer up to the fireplace and no further. Dogs should not be left in rooms alone, as that is when they tend to bark, and they should be kept under close control at all times, whether in the hotel building or within our grounds. I will go through these points again with the team, but we will continue to accept dogs, they are often the nicest guests we have, but I appreciate there must be rules that mean they don't impact upon our other guests experiences, and if properly applied I believe this should strike the happy medium needed. Thank you for your review, it is only with such open and honest feedback that we can endeavour to improve. Best Regards Ian H Jones

We had a short but lovely stay at new years, Although very busy and the hotel was full, you'd never have guessed it from the manner of the staff. They were courteous, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble! The food was very good, best steak we've had for ages, again

Dear Quest704142, Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review of your stay with us, and the awarding of 4 out of five stars on the score sheet. I shall pass on your kind comments to the team, and will also pass up your observations on the room s=design features. Hanging space seems to be going the way of open rails or hooks in more and more hotels nowadays, in general younger guests seem OK with it, whereas older guests who I guess are used to wardrobes don't particularly welcome it. I shall pass your comments on though, as what designers think is progress isn't always what our guests think is progress, and it is of course you, our guests who pay the bills ! Thank you once gain for your comments. Best Regards Ian H Jones

I think the bar closes with the last resident. Although I can’t be sure. The drinks are all reasonable, but hotel prices.
