Morgans Hotel is located in the heart of the maritime quarter, within walking distance to the city centre of Swansea. The Main Hotel has 20 rooms of accommodation, a bar lounge, restaurant and conference facilities. The Townhouse, situated across a small side road from the main hotel, has an additional 22 bedrooms. Please note that we are unable offer room service in the Townhouse. The restaurant is open seven days a week to residents and we serve bar meals in our bar lounge daily. The restaurant is open to the public from Wednesday evening through to Sunday lunch. The hotel is non-smoking and we have disabled access and facilities.

I was in the overflow hotel but it was fab - room had loads of luxuries like a coffee machine and the breakfast was really good - spent some time in the bar on the night and the service was great - shame there was no food but this was due to a big Xmas party being hosted so understandable

Wow. Wow. Wow. We stayed here on Friday 17th March for 1 night. Parking was a breeze, Check-in was super simple and the lovely receptionist even walked us to our room. Room was outstanding, very clean, interior was very fitting for the style of hotel & bed was super comfy! We headed to the bar for a few drinks, bar had a lovely atmosphere with a function going on it was bustling with happy people. On return we had another drink and chilled on the couches in the bar area. Staff were super friendly! and Breakfast WOW! 5* standard all day long! - Best scrambled eggs I have ever had. Check-out was also super simple. Value for money is 10 out 10. I would 100% stay again and highly recommend to friends & family.

I stayed in the townhouse and my room was lovely, very spacious and had everything that I needed. The room was spotless and the bathroom was fantastic with a separate bath and shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

Booked for a treat for myself and hubby but For the cost of this hotel for bed and breakfast is definitely not worth it we were put in a room in a townhouse opposite the hotel which was for disabled so very low sink etc the windows are loose so the wind howled through all night so no sleep that night went to breakfast and bread for toast empty no butter no pastries had to keep asking to be refilled , ordered a breakfast after about 25 minutes it arrived items missing and it was stone cold asked for sauce that took 10 mins to come by which time I was ready to leave not eating the food it was like fawlty towers couldn’t wait to stay there but never again

Truly awful. We felt like we were treated like cattle. You walk in, no entertainment, no canapés, nowhere to sit and enjoy a glass of champagne with friends. Hundreds of people stuffed into an average size room, very long queues for drinks (£64 for 2 bottles of very average Prosecco - daylight robbery). All you do is stand about waiting for your time to go upstairs, to be greeted with again, no entertainment, packed out rooms, awful food (the waiting staff forgot my starter and main - so I had to hunt down a member of staff to help me). Once you’ve finished you’re told to go back down stairs just to stand about like packed sardines again. What is the point?! I had foolishly thought that as we had to book tickets/table we’d have had that table for us to enjoy, with less people (more of an exclusive feel) and at least some entertainment. 4 toilets, for hundreds of people?! Overpriced, understaffed, waste of time. There was absolutely nothing special about this day. …

We are sorry you did not enjoy Beaujolais Day with us. We do not advertise canapes so I am unsure on where you would have seen this when booking. You would have been sent a confirmation with your arrival time, food service time and the time to vacate the table. We have 5 sittings throughout the day so we do need to stick to the timescales. With regards to the comment on entertainment, we have 3 DJ's, a saxophonist and a live band throughout the venues on the day. There is a DJ in the main bar and the saxaphonist moves betweens venues throughout the day. It is an extremely busy day which is always in demand. We understand that out of the 1,000 meals we serve we may encounter some issues and again, I am sorry this happened with you. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff of this unique hotel. The reception we were given after a long, tiring drive went far and above anything we have previously experienced, with the Receptionist running out into the rain to help direct my husband to the temporary carpark. The bed was enormous with the most comfortable mattress I have ever experienced, the water was really hot and the towels large and fluffy. On top of all that, the hotel is ideally situated within a few minutes walk of Swansea Arena and the main shopping area. Of course every hotel has some negatives: Morgans Hotel restaurant is unfortunately very small meaning it is necessary to reserve a table early in the day, as we found to our cost when we couldn’t get a table on our second night, and there were a few glitches with the housekeeping, but I would certainly stay here again.…

Lovely room, enjoyed the coffee, had a good night's sleep, staff were very friendly and helpful. Heating issue was quickly resolved. Excellent value for a Sunday night stay would definitely do this again.

My partner and I stay here last weekend. Beautiful room, delicious Welsh breakfast and very friendly staff. Minutes walk from the marina, city centre and the beach. Definitely book here again on our next visit.
