By luck we found Kilcreeny lodge searching last minute for accommodation near Belfast. Placed in the outskirts of Lisburn and Belfast this charming lodge is a perfect gateway for a relaxing break. Amidst rolling hills and farms this is a picture perfect setting.
The Hosts Jim and his lovely wife along with Heidi, the manager at the lodge were most gracious, kind and so very accommodating. Devon their Golden retriever is the families pet who is so adorable cuddly and fuzzy.
My daughter is Vegan and we had called earlier to find out if she could get any vegan food for breakfast.
Jim went out of his way to provide with not one but two vegan milk ( almond and coconut) plus he made special vegan breakfast just for my daughter. That’s service beyond expectations! 👏🏻
The rooms were sparkly clean with fresh white sheets and towels/ napkins.
We took a family room with a double and twin beds which was spacious, with large windows overlooking the beautiful county side. I would highly recommend this place for a perfectly peaceful stay with great service and warm welcoming hosts.
In future, if I’m in this part of the world I would surely come back to stay.
Thank you Jim and Heidi for making our stay so memorable.

We booked this B&b guesthouse because it was central (,near Lisburn) and easy to travel throughout NI during our 5 day trip. It well exceeded our expectations. Great rooms both with en suite and great beds. Lovely and clean with none of the clutter usually associated with BnB. Jim is a friendly host full of local knowledge with great staff and dogs. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay here at prices which are not exploiting the staycation boom. I cant recommended highly enough.

Just got home from a fabulous weeks stay at Kilcreeny Lodge and I can’t recommend it highly enough!! The lodge is absolutely amazing and set in a beautiful location just a short drive from Belfast centre. Jim our host is a wonderful guy and went out his way to make sure we had a pleasurable stay. I have limited mobility so opted for the family room with disabled access and it did not disappoint. Not only was the room cosy and decorated and furnished to a high standard but was also perfectly accessible. It had a wet room complete with hand rails and plenty of space to move about. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were spoilt for chance. The cooked breakfast was amazing and we also had cereal, fruit, yoghurts and toast to choose from as well of fruit juices and tea and coffee. We felt really at home there and will definitely be back for another stay soon. Thanks Jim

What a find. Fabulous B&B set in beautiful countryside, so quiet and peaceful but very easy to get into Belfast city centre.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable and with Jim’s legendary breakfast a perfect home from home stay. Great value for money we look forward to a return visit and Jim’s excellent hospitality !
Thank you

Beautiful building in the middle of stunning countryside, only 15 mins from Lisburn. Jimmy is a great host, and the breakfast is almost entirely made from local produce of the highest quality. Will definitely return. when next I travel to Northern Ireland

We arrived in Belfast at 10pm and we had no place to sleep. We were very lucky to find this accommodation because they welcomed us very kindly, despite the difficulties of hosting someone so late. The house is wonderful and the breakfast very tasty. They are very nice people, highly recommended. :)

After Easyjet cancelled my flight, had to quickly find overnight accommodation - Kilcreeny Lodge did not disappoint! Set in beautiful countryside, the room was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble for the owner (including a lift to our restaurant that night). The breakfast was yummy and the coffee was good. Great little B&B!
