I was looking for a places to stay whilst on business in Belfast for a couple of nights that had car parking and came across Standing Stones lodge.

Had a great welcome at check in, although it was late in the evening. Plenty of car parking.

The lodges are arranged around the main properly in lovely grounds and if it wasn’t raining it would have been a great view!

The accommodation was large and clean, the only thing I’d add is a rug for the floor as it found the hard floor loud and cold. I also had to ask for an iron but that was brought over promptly. WiFi was good.

There was no breakfast available which was disappointing.

It was really quiet and had two lovely nights sleep here. I’ll definitely return.

Quite a way out of the city centre, but the peacefulness is relaxing.
No food after breakfast except for a vending machine. Very good continental breakfast.
Excellent pint of Guinness, but very quiet in the bar/restaurant area.
The helpful staff will order your takeaway items. Probably best have it delivered to the hotel reception

Standing stones lodge is in an excellent location with some amazing views. We stayed in 1 of the lodges I stayed with my 2 children a 6 year old and 1 year old. My friend had a seperate lodge with her children. We where put in a accessable lodge I'm not sure why this was and it was a bit of a nitemare trying to shower my 1 year old as it was very slippy. I requested a cot unfortunately I wasn't able to use this as it was very grubby and stained, no sheet was provided to cover the mattress. There was a few cobwebs in the room and some hairs on the bed but it was fine for 1 night. We dined in the restaurant and ate of the nye menu 2 courses for £30. The adults were preordered and we ordered the kids of the children's menu. I had to ask for a child's menu then I had to ask for a drink order to be taking. It was busy enough but there was plenty of staff. The service wasn't good at all. It was over an hour after we where seated that we where eating. My 1 year olds baby bowl never arrived I asked for this 3 times. I had to ask about desserts that then arrived wrong, and had to ask again about the kids icecream. I did tell a waitress it had been a disaster and she apologised. My friend also told someone when paying the bill how bad the service had been and how we had to chase everything. Place has a nice atmosphere and the food was basic but fine when we eventually got it. I def think that it could be alot better run. The kids meals where just under a tenner and that was for a main and Ice cream expensive considering it was frozen nuggets and chips. My friend spoke to reception when checking out and relayed our issues and was told someone would make contact, we didn't hear anything and although it's a good location we probably won't be back.

We were delighted to drive up into the hills above Belfast to the Standing Stones. We are a family three and were delighted with our room. Freshly decorated and very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. The seafood chowder was excellent. Breakfast was equally nice. We would highly recommend and return again.

We chose this hotel for a three day stay in Belfast partly because of the unusually high cost of hotels close to the city centre at the time. (We thought of the "marching season" might be to blame, but didn't realise that the main reason was that the Open Golf was on at the time.) Having our own rental car, however, meant that it turned out to be an inspired choice. The city was only about 20 minutes away. The place is new and fresh. The staff was invariably friendly and obliging. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts were very good and we found it convenient to have dinner in the restaurant. For the more adventurous, there are glamping pods onsite. The neighbours are mainly bovine - and wind turbines. If you're a de Lorean aficionado, the old factory in Dunmurry, is less than 15 minutes away.

This is a great hidden gem with outstanding food and views from top of Divis mountain. We called in for dinner and we'll definitely be back.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
I had the hottest wings I've ever tasted for starter, I'm telling you the wings are hot hot hot. They are made with Sriracha and ghost chilli sauce. If you like spicy wings then these are a must try. For the main I had the Rib combo which consists of southern fried chicken fillet topped with rack of baby ribs, tossed salad and coleslaw
Ribs fell off the bone and the chicken had a lovely coating on it.
Unfortunately on this occasion we didn't have the pleasure of staying but they have added glamping pods and we are looking forward to trying these when they open as the views from the front of them is amazing.

Stayed in the lodges, lovely spacious and cosy. Staff are absolutely amazing here.
Now they are doing food, it was delicious and plenty on the plate. Very close to the beautiful black mountain walk.

I love this place and was delighted to return for another Christmas eve meal. The food and cocktails were delicious but my only gripe is that the mussels portion has reduced in size by at least half. I had about 25 mussels and 10 of those were empty shells
