Myself and my partner stayed here at the weekend, it was nice spot and staff were quite friendly. I booked in for the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast which included a 2 course meal and a glass of wine for two, although we received a credit note for the meal which did not cover two courses and the glass of wine was not included. The package deal was very misleading as I didn’t get what was stated when I booked. I believe the hotel and the restaurant do not correspond with one another due to having to leave the hotel for the restaurant.

Under present Covid Climate the room was very good, clean and comfortable and quiet in the evening. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. We had a good breakfast on the first day. The second day I requested poached eggs on toast as was not on the main menu. Not everyone likes fry-ups all the time. This was not a problem for them to cook the eggs except that I was told to make my own toast. As I did not know how long the eggs would take to cook I was left with cold toast. This seemed very petty to me and unprofessional and poor customer service such a shame. Maybe the cook could be provided with a toaster in the kitchen?

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. The hotel is near botanic gardens, ulster museum and queens university. Also near botanic train station for a cheeky trip to another town in Northern Ireland as a day trip if time allows. eg Derry.

Amazing room, great friendly staff and good breakfast. Just what you need for a weekend break. 20 min walk to the city centre and close to Queen's university area makes this the ideal location for a Belfast trip.
