We visited this hotel with another couple for a 2 night weekend and we were so pleased with this choice. The hotel is in easy walking distance of many of Belfasts sights and attractions and also just 5 minutes walk from a stop on the open top bus tour, (the stop is opposite the Queens University). If you don't like...

We arrived in Belfast after a big day visiting the Causeway and the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, (which are fantastic sites highly recommended for all who visit Northern Ireland). I had already pre booked via email and informed staff of my surprise engagement to my fiancé (she said yes :)). The Duke’s staff was fantastic with ideas and suggestions to make...

Slept like a log in a beautiful bed. Great and powerful shower. Complimentary Wi-Fi. Everything we needed. Found the staff on reception to be helpful enough, and service at breakfast was efficient. Absence of off-street parking is a major disadvantage in this university area and the hotel is perhaps a little tatty round the edges in terms of finish, but...

We stayed at Dukes for 2 nights in August when we came to Belfast for our friends' wedding. The room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable however the service provided by the staff was poor which is why we would probably choose somewhere else to stay next time we are in Belfast. Upon arrival there was no...

We arrived in Belfast after a big day and we stayed here. The service was great and the room even better. The facilities in the room were top notch and the bed was even better. We ate in the restaurant which quite good. The breakfast the next morning was also very good. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We really...

Just back from a fantastic 2 night stay at the dukes hotel and we were delighted with the friendly, personal service we received throughout our stay. From the outset we were welcomed by a polite, professional young lady who stored out luggage until our room was ready. She was knowledgeable of the area and offered advice to suit our needs....

The only thing good about this place was the woman at the front desk that understood we needed to get out of there. The room was old, smelly and just disgusting. We promptly checked into the Hilton across town.

Just back from a lovely 2 night stay at Dukes and both my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Check in was quick and although we were originally given the incorrect room, this was sorted quickly and without fuss. The lady at reception whom I believe was called Deborah, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. In...

Nice looking hotel in a good central location. We had a large double room that was very comfortable- best bed I have slept in!! Bathroom was also large and well presented with a large bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and well served.

We selected the Dukes at Queens hotel mainly for its rates and the location. As the name indicates it's a few steps away from Queens University which our son was interested in as he was considering studying there. The hotel staff were, on the whole, all right although a couple of them could be a bit more guest focused. One...
