I've recently returned from a 1x night stay @ The Beechlawn House hotel, when I arrived the hotel/Resturant was very busy, always a good sign when you are not sure where to stay. Check-in was very quick, rooms very hot but not a bad size. Food was good and had the choice to sit in the bar and watch the...

Have been here twice in the past month, the first time the food was pleasant the second not so much. Oddly it was the same dish Chicken carbonara, the first meal was creamy and delicious, the second was pasta swimming in liquid, I needed a spoon. The service is ok, not overly friendly but competent. The food is overpriced considering...

I certainly can't say I'd the experience others claimed to have had with regards to the staff. We arrived early for a funeral. The older chap I was with hadn't planned ahead and needed to change. I didn't expect to check in (it was 8.15am in the morning), tough I explained our predicament to the young girl on reception -...

Booked in for two nights. 1st night I ordered stuffed turkey and ham off the specials menu. The waitress came back to tell me the chef had none and did I want beef. ( it was back on the specials the next evening?)The beef was really nice but the rest of it was poor. Veg that was barely al dente...

This place was great yet not packed. We sat in the bar area and were the only ones there. The menu was terrific and not jammed as Gordon Ramsey would say. For a hotel the prices were very reasonable to say the least. The down side was the young waiters and waitresses preferred to talk too much among themselves and...

Stayed for one night here & was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are a little dated but clean and warm. Friendly staff. We didn't eat but food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked very appetising! It's roughly 10/15 mins outside Belfast but an Uber taxi cost roughly £8 into the city. Would go back.
