Advertised as a boutique 4 star hotel but it fits neither category. Staff are very pleasant but the business model is flawed. It is essentially a bar with some rooms. Bar can be noisy and needs a makeover. Breakfast is served in it and, although the food is quite good and prepared to order, the ambience (sagging seats, stale beer)...

Hotel is ideally situated with everything on the doorstep. Room was very big with plenty of hanging space, shelves and drawers etc with a huge bed but mattress was a bit soft and seemed very worn. Breakfast service and breakfast itself was excellent. Had one evening meal in the restaurant and that was excellent also. The big downside is the...

Rooms were lovely and clean dinner was very tasty service was quick and staff were very friendly ,I only have two complaints one is the dirt of the bar I have never seen anything like it,the bar itself was like a swimming pool, most of the chairs were broken and the floor was a mess, also the noise of the nite club...

The hotel is ideally located for visiting the museum, Queens University and nice places to eat. I am going to use bullet points to discribe my stay. * No off road parking - you need to park in a local side street. If you don't you may recieve a parking ticket. * Package - good value with breakfast and evening meal...

Stayed here for my 23rd birthday with my boyfriend last week, decided to get the superior room. Stayed in normal rooms before which were fine for a stay. Superior room was big, spacious, very big bed, fridge etc. however no iron, which I assume most rooms should have. We were facing the street and directly above the restaurant so it...

Visited hotel via a groupon voucher. Amazing value for money. Food in the restaurant attached is very good, and drinks nice and cheap. In a very central location for seeing Belfast. Rooms are basic - seems like the type of place where you`d simply sleep off the back of business meetings. V.Friendly Staff

This was my 3rd time staying in Madison's, and the most disappointing. The room was ok, clean and tidy. But the tv didn't have all the stations it should. We had to ask for the wifi code, rather than have it offered on checkin; the connection was not great at all. We requested an iron, which was delivered to the...

Situated near Queen's University, the Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum and only a 20 min walk into the city centre, this hotel offers a great place to stay. The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful, especially Cheryl who was a mine of information on what to see and do, pointing out a few free hidden gems. The hotel is...

We booked in here for 2 nights so we could visit the city and the titanic exhibition. The hotel is 20mins walk to main city centre or about £4 pound in a cab. Its a shoppers paradise with every top branded shop available to the bargains of primark (pennys) and dunnes stores. The titanic quarter is a good 35mins walk...
