Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

5 stars are not enough! the accommodations are luxurious, but also warm and friendly. Your stay has everything you need. Kitchen, laundry, large bathtub. We had a room with an outside patio. It was so wonderful that we stayed in a couple of nights. We enjoyed the fireplace and record player. As wonderful as the place is (and it really is!!) the staff is incomparable! They go wayy above and beyond to ensure you are having not just a good stay, but that you feel at home. They treat you like family. Don't hesitate, you will NEVER want to leave.

Superb place to stay, a real treat. From checkin to checkout the experience is special. Whilst the venue is fantastic, what really makes The Regency stand out is the attentiveness of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I had emailed at very late notice requesting parking and also informing of some dietary requirements - these were both looked after perfectly and always with a smile. Brilliant range of drinks and snacks dropped to the room simply via WhatsApp with the on site staff. The little extra touches were lovely too. A top class coffee machine and fresh beans, a guitar to strum (I hadn't played in years!) and a record player with a collection of LPs. Truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Can't wait to return!

My family and I are just back from a 3 night stay in the two bedroom apartment provided by The Regency Suites. I can honestly say it’s hands down the best facility we have stayed in and we have stayed in some pretty nice places previously. The attention to detail with the lighting, decor and even the amazing smells running through out the lobby make for a very luxurious and relaxing trip. The staff were so warm and welcoming to us from the off- Shanna, Michelle, Mark and John went out of their way to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. The beds are so so comfortable and the fire pit in the garden and chess board around the lobby area were a particular hit with my boys. Thanks and enjoy the rest of your year!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Regency in Belfast for 3 nights at the end of September. In my 20 years of traveling and as well as booking trips on behalf of my family and friends, The Regency is one of my favorite places that I have stayed and booked. Our apartment, the Garden Suite, is luxurious and impeccable but the staff is what really sets this place apart! We were well taken care of during our entire stay and we will not forget it. Nothing is too much trouble for the 24/7 staff who were friendly and attentive. The service at this place was on par (if not even better) with the AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts we stayed at during this vacation. From the well-appointed living space, to the bedroom, impressive bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances, and a private courtyard with a firepit, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The washing machine was very convenient especially as we had been traveling for almost 3 weeks by the time we stayed at The Regency and needed to do laundry. The Regency is in a very good location, with restaurants nearby and within walking distance to many attractions in Belfast. We were also able to use their free parking as we had a rental car during our stay here for driving outside Belfast such as seeing the Giants Causeway. Last but not least, we happened to meet the owners during our stay and they were very kind and generous with their time. They mentioned of the plans for future expansion nearby and I have no doubt that it will be just as impressive as this place. My husband and I can't say enough great things about this place and the people who work here. We hope to be back someday and will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends :-) Thanks for a very lovely time! -Chris & Jen

Home away from home and the very best of Irish hospitality. After a long trip on the road from Sydney to England to Morrocco to the Republic of Ireland, what a treat it was to stay at the Regency in the heart of Belfast's historic Queens district in Northern Ireland. We were late to arrive, and had not notified the hosts to this effect, so the team of David and John had waited up for us and had a hero's supper on hand ready to go including gluten free considerations as per our dietary needs. The decor was superb, we could not have been more comfortable. It was literally like arriving back home, but with all the mod cons and luxuries from the beautiful lounge and kitchen areas with French doors overlooking the park to the extra quiet suites for sleeping, to the contemporary gas fireplace (the best we've experienced) and the wonderful styling throughout including the vinyl record player and collection. In Australia we work in high end hospitality and can say with some context that you could not do better than this Northern Irish gem. The privacy and comfort are likely reason too for their incredibly esteemed guest list from presidents to low key travelers like ourselves. We felt compelled to share this exceptional experience. Thank you Andrea and Anthony, the owners who we had the pleasure of meeting during our, stay for your superb restoration and sparing no detail to modern comforts, taste and world class hospitality. Mark and Evette Moran

I stayed in the garden suite for 2 nights for my wedding and used the space for bridal preparations on the wedding morning. The suite and communal spaces are incredible. Everything is of the highest quality and no detail has been overlooked. The service from start to finish was fantastic. The staff are available on WhatsApp if you need anything leading up to or during your stay and are so helpful and professional! The breakfast was also brilliant as were the welcome snacks and drinks I arrived to. I can’t recommend The Regency highly enough!! The best service I’ve ever received and the most beautiful, thoughtfully decorated suite.

Beautiful, spacious, best place I've ever stayed in. From the minute we arrived the staff were excellent, professional, friendly very attentive. We asked for a Charcuterie Board in the Morning and they were able to have it in our Suite when we returned at the end of the day. They suggested and made reservations for dinner for us. We would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at The Regency Belfast for our anniversary. We stayed in The Loft suite and it was absolutely stunning. It had all amenities that you would need and friendly staff on-hand 24/7 to answer any questions. Stephany was extremely pleasant and accommodating, she gave us a tour of the suite and a quick demo of the different kitchen appliances which was very helpful. Breakfast delivered to our door in the morning was a great hit and the views of the park were beautiful. It was a truly exceptional experience, unlike any other place I have stayed before.

This was probably the nicest place my partner and I have stayed in for a city break. We spent a long weekend in Belfast, staying in the Garden Suite at the Regency and it was perfect. The on-site Manager, Katie, was really nice, communicative and helpful before, during and after our stay - you felt very well looked after. We ordered some flowers and an airport transfer in addition. The flowers were incredible (and huge!) and airport transfer was super timely and relaxing. The renovations, décor, fittings and style of the place was incredible, in each room we were in and from every corner. It all felt very special and luxurious and you can really relax and enjoy so many parts of the place. It felt like you had literally everything you would want and need for a luxurious break away in a hotel/residence. Having the kitchen and all its (many, and expensive!) appliances was so great - we had our dinner in on both nights rather than going out as you have all you need to cook whatever you want. With the fireplace, dining area and music on-hand, you had all you needed for a perfect night-in. We loved having the vinyl record player (which can also play tapes, CDs and the radio) available and there was an excellent choice of records to choose from! You really had all you needed for your stay there and it made for a great base to go out and enjoy Belfast or to stay and luxuriate in all the place had to offer. The little courtyard area outside was lovely too, and being on Upper Crescent meant it was also nice and quiet during the day and at night time with a sweet public garden area just out the front. We really hope to go back at some point soon :)
