Located off a quiet street near Queen’s University, the Botanic Garden, and Ulster Museum, Evelyn’s B & B occupies a restored Victorian row house. Our room overlooked a quiet garden and the large windows admitted great quantities of natural light (it helped that we were...More
Evelyn and her dog are the perfect hosts; I had a lovely room in the attic, with brass bedstead and comfy bed linen. The shower in the bathroom is a wonderfully efficient piece of Victorian engineering!

I was stuck for somewhere to stay when visiting Belfast for a conference and rang this B&B almost at random. Lyn couldn't have been more welcoming even though I had only given her 15 minutes notice. The house is peaceful and comfortable and beautifully decorated...More

Just to add to Guillaume's helpful answer, we parked at Evelyn's with no problems. The walk into the heart of the city is nice, but if that's not your thing, there are a couple bus routes that run regularly down University Road and the A1, and the stops are just a short walk from Evelyn's.
In addition to The Barking Dog, there are a few other good restaurants nearby including Maggie Mays (student-ish breakfast/lunch place) and a very good place just around the corner (the name escapes me at the moment). There's also the all-important late-night chippy nearby. ;-)
Evelyn's was great, I highly recommend it. Safe travels!

"The double rooms overlooking the front garden are extra special if available, but all the rooms are nice."
