Just back from a few days in Armagh having stayed at Dundrum House along with 6 other family members. What a beautiful, comfortable and interesting place to stay! Larry and Ann were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We even chose a preferred breakfast time and sat around chatting with no pressure to get up and leave. If you prefer brand new contemporary accommodation then look elsewhere because you'll find something to moan about. However, If you have a sense of adventure, appreciate a gorgeous view, like accommodation with a bit of history and character, like to be comfortable, appreciate being treated with respect, enjoy a great breakfast with the added bonus of easy-going chats with the hosts, then you can't fail to enjoy your stay. We had a lovely experience there.

I stayed for one night with Larry and Liz in this superb B&B, located in the beautiful and very quiet Co. Armagh countryside. The house is quite old but has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard and is obviously lovingly maintained by the family, it was very apparent that Larry takes great pride in the building and the service offered. I received a very warm and genuine welcome upon arrival and nothing was too much trouble for my hosts during my stay. The view from the bedroom window was very relaxing and the breakfast the following morning was simply exceptional, provided at a time of my choosing, without question, even though it was quite early on a Sunday morning: that kind of service is just another thing that makes this location special. A big thank you to Larry and Liz for looking after me and I will very definitely return. Very highly recommended.

What an amazing time we had! Larry and Ann were simply phenomenal hosts and ensured we had everything we needed/ wanted. They were fantastic with our young daughter and engaged her in all conversations. I came on a trip to explore my family history. Since I first found out about this in 2018, Larry has been incredibly helpful in enabling me to understand more about my history - photographing books for me and sharing them with me upon our arrival. We could not have asked for more from them. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and I've been craving bacon and potato bread since! My daughter is desperate to return, so we will be back!

Just home from a brilliant w'end in Dundrum House. From the moment we made the booking until we left the home we were made so welcome. A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. On arrival Larry gave us a huge friendly welcome and gave us some history of the house. Our room was ideal, clean and spacious. Nothing was too much bother for Larry or his daughter. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food and made to perfection, warm and on time. Our daughter was so happy to spend time with the horses and family dog. Dundrum House is an ideal location for exploring many other places like Armagh, Warrenpoint, Castleblayney. Thank you Larry and Ann for a great w'end..we loved the craic and the stories. We'll definitely be making a return visit.

We stayed at Dundrum House for two nights as part of a long weekend break for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday and we are so glad we did.
Larry and his family were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was also very clean and well kept and felt very homely.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning, and the coffee and juice was great too.
We loved the dogs, sheep and horses in the grounds and chatted to them each day!
The location of Dundrum House was perfect for our travels and was a lovely base to return to. We want to come back to Ireland for a longer trip next year and will definitely be coming back to stay here as we enjoyed it so much.

Larry & Ann were both very welcoming to their impressive Georgian home. Larry even contacted us afterwards to make sure that we didnt overpay by accident. Big comfortable rooms for sure. Nearby places to eat were Basil Sheils only a 1 minute or so drive away & also a couple of spots in nearby Keady. We enjoyed The Caledonian see separate review

Sometimes in life you are made to feel so welcome in someone else’s home that you’d happily extend your trip if you could!
I just spent a fab weekend here and can’t thank Larry and Anne enough for a lovely, clean and comfortable stay. I will certainly be going back.

Jes there's nothing more I hate than liars. Stated one night here only to be awakened at 7.35am by the daughter Anne saying that her father Larry had been taken into hospital overnight and that'd there'd be no breakfast served. I was asked to pay full £95 as breakfast was free. Actually it was £95 for bed and breakfast or maybe I missed something. However as I looked out the window there was Larry farming and then later heading out with his daughter in the car. Beds were so uncomfortable and the room was full of dust. Wouldn't recommend. Disgusted with the lies.

Visited Dundrum House Guest house for one night, when we arrived Larry was at the door speaking with guests, he welcomed us in a warm and enthusiastic manner. Once inside the house, Larry brought us up to speed regarding the history of his ancestral home which is Dundrum House.
Larry is very jovial and very easy to warm to.
The house itself is very clean, and despite being an old property, is decorated to a very high standard, and displays character.
We had a very comfortable night, and the breakfast, full fry, was cooked to 5* star quality, coupled with the fact that the dining room still has the original ceiling with cornice etc, made it a delight to just sit and take time to eat.
Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, breakfast is unrushed, and cooked at a time that suits individual guests. There is a pub/restaurant less than a mile down the road,
Dundrum House is set deep in the County Armagh countryside and is a really tranquil place.
We will definitely go back again.
We recommend Dundrum House as an ideal getaway for both young , and not so young.

Forget the rest, Dundrum is the best. You will not be disappointed in booking this fantastic bed and breakfast. It is so peaceful and relaxing and nothing is too much trouble for the owners. The house itself sits within a fabulous country location overlooking the green fields of Co Armagh but is also within easy reach of the city. I highly recommend Dundrum House, it is a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay
