Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a nice b&b in an excellent location just across the bridge and within a couple of blocks of the walled city. Since it is in an urban location there is no off street parking lot. Once the parking is explained you can move your car to a very inexpensive city lot nearby and leave it for a day or two. The walled city and the Bogside are all within easy walking distance. It's frankly a relief for an American driving in Ireland to be rid of the car for a while.
Often reviews talk about the size of bedrooms etc. What I think here is important is what one can learn about the history and experiences of the Irish people over the past several decades and the past several centuries. Derry affords that opportunity. And if one is fortunate enough to meet someone like the owner, Ursula, and her husband, Shawn, who grew up here it is a wonderful experience. The time I was able to spend with them is one of the best travel experiences of my lifetime. Thank you both so much for what you shared with my friends and me.

We arrived late into Derry and had only chosen to stay here as we drove to Derry based upon other reviews. We were not disappointed. The B&B is just over the bridge as you enter Derry and was so central to all the sights and restaurants. Whilst it doesn't have parking on site, there is ample parking on the streets just a few metres from the B&B. The room we got I think was a family room but nonetheless was great and really comfortable. Would gladly stay here again.

Stayed for 4 nights,
Greeted with warm welcome,
Checked in closed to 8pm after a 15 hours flight. Driving up from Dublin airport, long road up to Derry, so it was nice when Ursula was there to greet us and show us our rooms, she even gave us 2 room options which was very accommodating.

Ensuite room was clean, comfy and provided good sleep. Jet lagged most mornings so breakfast was something I looked forward too. English breakfast was good served at 8am daily, we had to leave early on one of the days, and our request to have a slightly early breakfast at quarter to 8am was not a problem.

Parking was not an issue, just up the road, plenty of parking, just note there is no stop in front of the B&B.

Conveniently, walkable to the key tourist attractions in the area.

Will recommend this B&B if in the area.

A fantastic three night stay in this beautiful B&B. Home from home comforts and great welcome from Ursula and staff. We were looked after very well and Ursula even ironed a couple of shirts for us. The service and accommodation beats any of the budget hotels hands down!!

I only spent a night here a week ago, but the staff made me feel at home. It was a warm inviting spot on a terrible day.
The room was spotlessly clean and very restful.
I had a few questions as I am not that familiar with Derry the staff went out of their way to answer them completely.
I will stay there again.

We had such a great stay here. The hostess, Ursula, was like coming home to a long, lost friend or relative. She made us laugh and we wished we could have stayed a week, just to have her entertain us.

Perfect location close to Walled City and great restaurants. Room was fantastic and a tremendous value. Breakfast was perfect. Most of all Ursula and her team made us truly feel welcome and treated us like family. I cannot give Ursula and the Bridge B&B enough praise.

One note, there is no onsite parking but there is a convenient car park an easy 3 minutes away. If you are driving ask directions to the car park before you go.

The staff at Bridge B&B was very friendly. We arrived early but could check in anyway. The room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast options are plentiful but I’d highly recommend Irish breakfast. The B&B is ideally situated in downtown Derry. I will definitely stay there again.
