Again my sincere thanks to Ann and Dennis, for another Magical stay. As always the standard was impeccable, and the thoughtful supply of fresh milk and supplies was just the icing on the cake. I was pleased too to see that their Caravan & Camping site , which is a new addition, is also getting good support God Bless Them Both, and Long may they enjoy it

Ann provided a huge breakfast. It was lovely to sit round the farmhouse kitchen table chatting to Ann who provided tips and directions on places to visit locally. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo and conditioner. We had a good night’s sleep as the location is quiet/remote with fantastic views.

The Lady of the house, Ann, is a wonderful person! Great character and warmth without any pretense. We ate Curry from down the hill (excellent curry house nearby!) in the kitchen while watching women's Rugby and talking about the politics of flood plains and who's responsible for damage. Breakfast after walking amongst the sheep (looking over another country!) and had no complaints. We had a great but brief visit, Thanks! - Julian and Colleen and Gerard from Newfoundland

Well Once again Elaghvale Lodge in Derry was the perfect Retreat Haven for us, with its friendly atmosphere, and it’s stunning views, over Donegal. If you’re the type who likes peace and quiet, and the ability to venture out at your leisure, then you couldn’t find a better spot. So a BIG Thank You to Ann and her family, for another Great holiday, and a special thank you to “The Man Of The House” for the tour of his Brilliant Car Collection. A Big Thank You also to the Lovely people of Derry and Donegal, and in particular, those in Carndonagh who were celebrating the Easter Parade, which was beautiful. A Great big Thank You to Bronagh Gallagher, for the copy of her latest CD “Gather Your Greatness” We think it’s TERRIFIC!! God Bless You All, Till next year

My wife and I booked out the self-catering, 4 bedroom lodge for ourselves and some friends. It was terrific. Cosy and well facilitated. Perfect for a few days of self-catered relaxation. A short and cheap taxi trip to nearby Derry as well. The hosts were also great. Helpful, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommended!

Everything was great, food, people, room, and even the sheep outside :) We liked the place alot and would stay there again. Londonderry is a nice city. The landscape in this region is incredible. Malins Head (most northern point) is well worth the visit. Greetings, Daniel and Börje

Well once again, we visited the lovely Elaghvale Lodge, on the Upper Galliagh Road in Derry. And once again the beauty and tranquillity of the area, and the wonderful friendly welcome received from the Heaney family, was a true joy, and an enormous tonic to us all. It’s location, makes access to both Derry , and Donegal perfect. The house itself is marvellous, and has all the amenities you expect, such as a well fitted kitchen, two bathrooms, wifi, (if you have time) Added to that the splendour and warmth of the people of Derry touched us all and we thank them for all their wonderful hospitality. Again, our sincere thanks to Anne and her family, for a most enjoyable stay

We stayed at the self catering lodge for three nights. The room we booked was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well very equipped and we had everything we needed. In the shared living room there was a Tv with a Dvd player, nice to relax after a hiking day. The house was located closely to Derry and Letterkenny, both nice places to explore.

29/03/2015 Me and my family have just spent two glorious weeks at Elaghvale Lodge The peace and quite was amazing, and the view stunning. The self-catering cottage, is beautifully decorated, and perfectly maintained. It is the perfect distance from the City of Derry, and the County of Donegal My family and I were thrilled, at the location in the lovely rural countryside, and found Ann Heaney, and her family most friendly and understanding, with the warm Irish hospitality , one expects from that part of the world Ann, our sincere thanks, for everything you done to make our stay a most pleasant one. The bad news is... You haven't seen the last of us!! God Bless You All, Tom Drury Gibraltar
